Great Escape
Overall, the Ford Escape is a great SUV. It has enough get up and go to get you where you need to go and is small enough to park anywhere. The heating and A/C work fantastically. We have put on almost 90,000 miles, and it is going strong! The ride is very smooth, it is more like riding in a car than in a SUV. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone! In fact, my in laws bought one on our recommendation. They too love theirs.

Great, decent gas miles, spacious
I have had this car for about 6 months now and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I bought the car after I burned out the clutch in my mustang. The ford escape had over 100,000 miles when I bought it and the vehicle still runs great. It has given me good gas miles still around 25. I really like how spacious the vehicle is and I like the leather seats. The moon roof and navigation systems are nice additions. I am looking forward to see how well it will work in the snow this winter. The escape is a V6 but I think it is losing some of its power since it has over 100,000 miles in it. I have taken the vehicle in off road situations and have had no problems getting stuck. I wouldn't trust it towing anything though. I have heard the newer versions are v4s which are nice for gas mileage but robs the car or power and speed.
