Nice small family car
Prior to purchasing the vehicle brand new, the dealership already activated the free 3 month Sirius trial, leaving my family with a short time frame to enjoy it. Within the first year, one of the directional air flow vent buttons popped off which I was not crazy about and was not covered under warranty. Overall it's a good, reliable family vehicle.

Not a great vehicle
When I was first looking to buy a car, I really liked how the Kia Sorento looks. I still really like the look of the car. I love how spacious the car is, and I can fit a ton in the trunk. I have owned the car four years, and the exterior still looks almost brand new. I do not have any rust on the car even though it's a 2011. This is a great car if you need to constantly transport a lot of materials or have children. I was able to fit many boxes in the car when I was moving. Fuel economy is definitely not great. I get maybe 25mpg on the highway and probably not even 20mpg in the city. I drive a lot, and I have to refill my tank every three days or so, which isn't cheap right now with the current gas prices. This car is also not very reliable. I would call it a clunker. I have had it for four years, and I've had to invest thousands of dollars into it just so it would pass inspection. I think also something is currently wrong with the electrical components of the car. Many of the buttons on my steering wheel no longer work, or if I press one button, my car will think I pressed a different button. I am not sure if the wires are crossed or what happened. I'm also having issues with the lock actuators, which is apparently a problem with this model car. For the past six months or so, when I unlock my car, the locks make a really loud buzzing sound. It's very annoying and a bit startling if you aren't expecting the sound.
