This car was actually a hand-me-down from a family member after my last car was totaled. I was skeptical at first because I only ever drove small cars before, but I couldn't be happier with the way it handled. We get a lot of snow where I live, and the 4-wheel drive has never let me down. This car has over 340,000 miles on it (all highway) and only the bumper and fender have had to be replaced (due to accidents, no fault of my own). I would definitely consider buying the 2016 Highlander.
Story
On a snow day during college, my roommates and I wanted food, and you had to drive to get anything where I was located, so with the roads all being covered and no one else out, we were able to drive for miles with the freedom of the road. It was a ton of fun.
Pros
Interior space, leg room, sun roof, 4-wheel drive and the third row seating were the greatest features of this car.
Cons
With gas prices rising and the tank being as big as it is, it's been expensive to keep it filled, but no major complaints.

2014 Toyota Highlander - Expensive.

I personally think that thinking ahead versus right now is a better way to go into a dealership. I would have been happier with a van for my needs.
Story
After driving off the lot, my child dumped the entire contents of his milk bottle on the seat. It absorbed into the seat and on a summers day smelled rancid. That smell, mixed with new car scent had me gagging Every time I would get into the car for almost a month.
Pros
Good handling. Seats are great. No road noise.
Cons
Expensive, gas guzzler, premium gas needed, seating, not family friendly. The color seats, they are unforgiving with stains. Also, the trim on the seats is somewhat peculiar. Toyota had did contrasting colors. Black seats had white trim and threading which makes it look terrible. It would look better all black.

Team Toyota may not be the largest dealership I've ever been to, but it is certainly the most professional. I had a very pleasant experience at team Toyota - there was always someone available to assist me and I never felt as if I was wasting their time. They were very patient and made me feel welcomed. They were also very accommodating when it came to pricing and helped me get the best deal possible. Even after I bought the car, the dealer communicated with me several times to make sure I was happy and to ensure everything was running smoothly. I would absolutely buy from there again.
