We already had a little boy, but when I found out my wife was having triplets I was shocked. One of the things we needed was a vehicle that could transport our whole family. You would be surprised how hard it is to find a car, or a SUV, or even a minivan that will accommodate three rear-facing car seats. Many vehicles will allow two anchor points for the car seats per row, but not three. You would be surprised. But the Toyota Siena was perfect! It allowed us to fit all of the car seats together in the rear bench seat. There was room for my wife and I in front and my older son in the first row. Then the triplets behind and even room for Grandma to ride with us to the grocery store. Additionally, we found a triplet stroller. The only thing was that it did not fold up. I was worried that... Story
One time, my wife drove to the store and had run over a nail in the road. After she returned to the van after shopping, she noticed she had a flat tire. She had to call AAA to come and help, but the guy from AAA couldn't find the spare tire. I had to come down to the store to show him where it is. There is a secret little flap (that is even hard to see if you know where to look) that you have ... (more)
Pros
I call it my 'Swagger Wagon.' It can do anything with it. I can carry my large family anywhere. It is roomy and has a smooth ride. My wife mostly drives the car, and I feel she and the little boys are safe. Its seats fold down and/or remove, so I can move just about anything in it. I love the fact that it will accommodate three rear-facing car seats in one row and room for a huge triplet stroller in the back. Amazing.
Cons
There was some wear and tear/corrosion on the undercarriage—but I think this is mostly due to the harsh winters and the city salting the roads. Also, the spare tire is hard to locate.

I actually don't immediately think of a minivan when I'm driving this car. It feels more like an SUV, and I use it more like an SUV (aside from the potential for off road driving, which I do not do with this vehicle). I'm a big fan of the vehicle because of its handling, its Toyota quality, it rides well, has a ton of features built in, and of course, the all-wheel drive (AWD) is great for people who have serious winters. The seats are very configurable (I keep the middle two out most of the time, and the back bench folds into floor, which is nice).
Story
Transporting four people and four dogs to the beach. That was an adventure but the vehicle accommodated us well (kept the middle seats out so there was room for the dogs to lay down -- put foam over the areas where the middle seats connect).
Pros
The all-wheel drive is the number one positive thing for me. For my work I need to transport large packages of different sizes. I have eight feet from the back of the front seats to the inside of the rear door. And the side doors come in handy for my work. It cleans up nicely and can be used to transport any number of people. It has dual sun roofs, which is nice, and all the media stuff I don't really use but the kids do.
Cons
This will be hard for me. The obvious thing is that this vehicle does not get great gas mileage. What they advertise of 18 city/25 highway is even a little high as far as my driving is concerned. I wouldn't mind having more built-in storage (like floor storage that some of the newer models have), but that's not a big con.

They had the used car I wanted at a fair price. It was a big dealership so I knew that the car would be taken care of since they could spend the money to detail it. They also had a CarFax report.

They were very understanding of my budget and worked to help me get the car I wanted at the price I wanted. They didn't pressure me too much, and they were flexible. I know they wanted to make a sale, but I felt like they cared about my experience as well.
