2008 Toyota Corolla - I really like this vehicle because it is great with gas mileage and drives very smooth. I am also an avid traveler and it works great on all types of terrain which is good for any climbing or hiking that I would love to do. I really like the inside design
I really love this vehicle. I love the color and design and that even though I am on the shorter side, it works perfectly well for me and is easy to drive. I have had it for a very long time and really think it's going to last a lot longer with little repairs.
Story
I was driving this car around Colorado and we saw so many deer and they came up to us while we were driving very slow. They came and licked food out of our hands when we stuck them out the window. They were the most friendly deer I had ever seen.
Pros
The sleek design of the exterior and interior. The smooth drive because of the wheels. The smooth acceleration when pressing on the gas. The comfy seats and steering wheel. The ability to go a long distance without having to fill the tank too much. The brightness that the lights offered in the dark. The ability to drive through a snowstorm with little drifting.
Cons
The hesitation the breaks give. Not having the ability to seat more than 5 people. The stereo sounds a bit fuzzy when turned up too loud. The carpeting on the floor is not my favorite. The trunk space is not nearly big enough for my needs. The front part of the car easily comes undone.
2010 Toyota Corolla - Toyota Corolla - A reliable little number
I love my Corolla. It's roomy, it's sleek, and it's pretty - I might be in love with it. I enjoy the amount of trunk space and the little foot rest on the driver's side floor. My kids like the space in the backseat that allows for them to avoid touching at all costs. It's speedy, it's safe, it's powerful, and above all else, it drives really nicely. I like the sensitivity of the seats to determine whether to activate the airbags, but I do not enjoy the seatbelt beeping when I have heavy books or bags on passenger seat.
Story
Driving around Pittsburgh, my children like to point out my 'twin' cars. It seems that there are a lot of people who drive Corollas! It's almost the official car of Pittsburgh.
Pros
Loads of trunk space. Audio adjusts depending on speed. Very easy to move seats forward and back. Bendable side view mirrors. Foot rest on driver's side. Lots of storage space. Two glove compartments. Removable drink holder divider. Easy to use clock reset/set. Quick pickup. Easy to install car seats.
Cons
Not a lot of foot room in passenger side, if you have passengers in back. Not a lot of foot room in back seat, if the driver is tall. Seats and cushions not easy to clean. Body dents easily. Key sometimes will not unlock door. Seats do not go down to allow for more trunk space! Middle console not removable for easy cleaning. Car stains easily. Radio display occasionally glitches. Too much info on dashboard. No option to cycle through dashboard info regularly (timed). Heavy bags on passenger seat will set off seat belt beeping.
