When I was looking for a car to purchase, I wanted something similar to the Scion (because a friend of mine had one) and had really good headroom because I'm a tall person. The Kia Soul has a ton of space inside not only for people but things you need to store in the trunk/backseat. The handling and power also surprised me, it drives smoothly and I bought the plus model so the engine is a little better than the standard model. It has a very nice interior, the seats have a soul trim that make it look attractive to buyers. The color selection of this car is great as well, I ended up going with a silver model. Mileage is ok, not great, but not bad either. The only thing I regret was a pebble that struck my windshield and the lower part of the windshield has started to crack. I'll have to pay $250+ to have it completely replaced because of the heating vents under the window have spread the crack to the point of having the whole thing replaced. However, aside from that, I am more than happy with my purchase and have no problem recommending this car to friends.

The only thing that I do not like about this vehicle is the trunk, which is VERY small. I love everything else so much though that I am willing to look past this point! The price is great for what you get. The standard version of this car comes loaded with options that you would have to pay for in another car like satellite radio. It drives great. The turning ratio on it crazy good - as good as a more expensive car. I like that the brakes are very sensitive. It stops on a dime.
