My vehicle has been very reliable, great gas mileage and low maintenance. The coupe model is sporty and performs well and also has a great interior finish. Great car to commute to the city for work.
Story
My mom and I drove to Ohio to pick it up and I drove it back home after purchasing it. We visited three states that day and had a great time.
Pros
I like that it is a coupe with heated leather seats, sunroof, and Bluetooth. It is also my favorite color, blue.
Cons
The gas mileage has gone down over the years and this model has a defect with the finish on the rims. The rims are 17", which make it a little more expensive to buy new tires. The suspension rattles a little but does not effect the stability of the car.

I've added about 30,000 miles to my car since I first got it over three years ago, and so far, I still enjoy zipping around in my little Focus. The car is tiny (I am 6' 3"), has no side airbags, and has minimal interior design. However, you pay for the engine in this car, not the interior or endless amount of useless features in today's vehicles. The 2.3 Duratec engine provides over 150 hp to the front wheels, and since the car only comes in a manual transmission, allows you to easily slip into the engines power band, and also allows you to keep the RPM's low to get better gas mileage. The car is not fast by any means, but it is quick. You can skirt through corners of backroads like a felon, as the front wheels screech for grip when you down shift into a sharp turn, or take off from ... (more)

I was driving back from a town 3 hours away from home, I decided to get off the toll-road early and head through a mountain pass. It was mid-day, and the road was completely clear. I rolled the windows down, turned off the radio, and just let myself connect with the car as I manipulated the car's gearbox through the windy mountain roads for about 45 minutes. Pros
Quick feeling car, 5-speed transmission, sliding moon roof, heated seats, aggressive stance (for a naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder powered car). Power everything. The interior is nothing fancy, but it fits the car's personality. Overall, the car is cheap, not super fancy, and decently quick, creating one of the better first car options for young teens looking to learn to drive a manual transmission, all while being able to keep the insurance down for their parents.
Cons
No side airbags, radio isn't loud, air conditioner is weak, clutch has always engaged rather low to the floor, MPG is low (18/21). Not a head turner by any means.
