I initially bought my Prius for the gas mileage, which I do get (and then some). It's got a great interior and TONS of storage space. Contrary to what I've read elsewhere, the seats are definitely comfortable and the entire interior is very well-designed.

I've had the Prius for almost a year now. We got it in December of last year. It's a great car. It's very attractive grey and futuristic looking. The hatchback trunk is great and roomy. It can fit lots of groceries or our baby stroller without any problems. I love having a hatchback instead of a regular trunk because I can use it as a surface to change the baby's diaper in a pinch! We have not had a single technical problem with the car. It drives very smoothly on the highway. The fuel economy is terrific, even for city driving - almost always above 40 MPG. You have the option of turning ECO mode on or off so that you can get more pickup on the highway, that's a great feature. I love that it tells you the MPG you just achieved every time you turn off the car. It's very comfortable, too. I'm very short, so my favorite part is that I can adjust the seat to be higher up so I can see over the dashboard!
