This is actually my second Rogue I have purchased. I love Nissan vehicles and this is my 4th Nissan in a row. My current vehicle has tinted widows, a moon roof, XM radio and a few other options. I didn't' lease the top of the line model because I just didn't want the financial commitment. I had the dealer search for the pearl white color and tan interior. When I first sat in the 2016 Rogue I immediately noticed it felt bigger inside, even though it really isn't all that much larger. I think the driver controls and hands free phone accessories are great! I am also very impressed with how the vehicle drives and handles. I have driven my 2016 Rogue in all types of weather conditions and was very impressed with how the all wheel drive handled in the snow. The engine provides plent... (more)
Story
Shortly after I purchased my current Rogue, we got a snow fall of 39 inches. After digging out and being able to get my car out of the garage, I needed to run errands. While the roads had been plowed, they were still really snow covered and slippery. My Rogue had no trouble at all in these conditions. There was very little slippage while I was driving and stopping and starting were easy.
Pros
I love the interior and exterior color of the vehicle. The power seat on the drivers side is very easy to customize to my height. I think the sound system is great and love that the vehicle came with a trial of XM radio. I also think that the back up camera is GREAT! The image is always clear and the screen on the center console is large and easy to see.
Cons
Some of the features in this Rogue seem a little cheap. The cover for the sun roof is nothing more than fabric. If you have the sunroof open and windows down, you can hear the fabric flapping against the roof of the vehicle. I have also noticed that some of the plastic pieces in and around the vents are not fitted properly.

Overall, my Nissan Rogue has been a good car. I bought it new in 2012, and I have had no mechanical issues with it whatsoever. I'm not really a car person, but I try my best to stay up on my car maintenance. I'm sure there's been a few missed oil changes and what not, but I've never had any major issues. I was looking for a small SUV/crossover, and this fit in my budget. I have the base model, so it doesn't have anything fancy (no leather, no heated seats or mirrors, etc.) So sometimes I feel like the interior looks a little cheap, but overall, it is still aesthetically pleasing.
Story
This car really is our family car. We take it to Ocean City, MD, every summer. It can be a little tight packing it up. So, every year, my husband packs it up just right for us.
Pros
Affordable. I wanted to buy new and I wanted a small SUV/crossover, and this was one of the only cars that fit in my budget. This is random, but I also really like that it has the AUX cable on the front screen/radio area because I like to plug my phone in to listen to music. I also like the cruise control on the steering wheel instead of on one of the knobs coming off the steering wheel.
Cons
Road noise. I find it noisy inside the car when on the highway. I also really, really, really dislike the USB plug and phone adaptor plug that is inside of the center console! It is impossible to get to when you have stuff in the center console, so it is practically useless to me. I also wish the back doors opened a little wider. It can be difficult getting my child in and out of their car seat.

I actually went to Rothrock Nissan in Allentown first. For the same car, Rothrock gave me a deal with my trade-in 2001 Ford Focus at $1000 so the same Nissan @ 15,500 came out at $260/mo and this was after 1 hour of back and forth negotiations. For the same exact car, Montgomeryville offered $2600 on my trade-in and my total was $225/mo. That's $35/mo for 60. There was none of this back and forth negotiations. They were a rare, honest dealer and I was very happy with the deal and their service at Montgomeryville.
