I like the utility and ruggedness of this little truck. They are getting increasingly more difficult to find. This truck was probably a decommissioned work truck. It is plain white and already had some marks on the bed probably from someone hauling things around in it. It was in very good shape with only around 75,000 miles when I purchased it.
Story
I rode some friends around in the back one day during a parade. We had a lot of fun and no one got hurt.
Pros
The truck is small but very tough and reliable. I have had very few problems with it and have owned it for about ten years now. It handles very well. The seats are vinyl, and to me, that is mostly a positive feature, as it is easy to clean. The gas mileage on this vehicle (being a four-cylinder engine) is also excellent.
Cons
Vinyl seats do tend to get pretty hot when it is hot outside. Everything on this particular model is manual (windows, door locks etc.). There is only a radio in this particular model, no CD player. Not a lot of room behind the seats to put things.

1999 Ford Ranger - The Ford Ranger is a great compact truck for everyday use.

The Ford Ranger is a great little truck for everyday use. The design is slim, it's durable and easy to get around with. It's not an attention seeking truck that's all flash and no substance. This thing is tough and rugged and a mighty mouse of pick ups.
Story
What I really loved doing with this truck was going to bonfires. We could chop and haul the wood in the back and then put down the tail gates and enjoy the fire as the night set in.
Pros
What I love most about this truck is the great gas mileage. At the same time, it's still a pickup and I'm still able to haul things. I love having the great views around me as well you can't get from an SUV or Sedan with several blind spots. I always feel like I can tell what's happening on the road around me at all times.
Cons
The cons are that this is, for one, not an extended cab truck. Meaning you won't be driving a family around or even a group of friends. There's room for one other person, possibly two if you can squeeze in. And it only has 4 cylinders and 2 wheel drive. Other options do come with 4 wheel drive which is the only thing I'd really change about this truck if I had to do it over again. Especially living in the Midwest with snow and ice, sometimes you need that extra power and traction to get going and I've been snowed in a few times while others can get out and about.

I've bought several cars from Pundmann Ford over the years. They have always had a great selection of vehicles to choose from. The sales staff were very friendly, and they went out of their way to help me get vehicles that fit into my budget. The service department is also very nice. I never felt cheated or like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need.
