Overall, I love the look and feel of the interior and exterior of my vehicle. I love the hatchback trunk, seats and features inside. My main issue comes down to what is under the hood. My car has had some transmission issues since I've owned it, and I have since learned that this is a common problem for my model year of Ford Focus. The transmission takes some getting used to as it is unlike many other cars in the way it takes off from park. It doesn't bother me at all, but I've heard from others that they feel like the car is about to stall out; it isn't really, but it does take a second to kick up a notch when taking off. After driving this car for several years, I love how it handles and the size of it is small enough to easily park and maneuver through rush hour traffic, but it's st... (more)
Story
I recently used my car for help moving houses. I knew that my back seats folded down halfway for even more room in my hatchback trunk, but after talking to another Ford Focus owner, I just learned that the rear seat headrests can be taken off, and if you reach inside the bottom portion of the seat, you can flip the entire seat over to be completely flat in the back. This gave tons of room in t... (more)
Pros
I love the overall look and feel of my Ford Focus. The metallic blue color is unique, stylish, and one of the main reasons for my purchasing my specific car. There's plenty of room on the interior, great headroom, and ample trunk space with the hatchback and even more when you fold the seats down.
Cons
The transmission in the 2012 year Focus is my biggest drawback. While my car was still under manufacturer warranty, I had my entire transmission replaced because of an issue of it stalling out while driving, which is an extremely scary experience. I haven't had any issues since, but had I known I would have to go through this, I probably would have chosen a different car or at least a newer model year of Focus which I have heard are better in this department.

I know that a lot of people have their differences in opinions on types of cars. One person may be a Ford guy, through and through, while his best friend may be a Chevy guy. I've never been one to choose sides, but after owning my 2010 Ford Focus, I may just become a Ford guy, after all.
Story
Reflecting on the comfort of the Focus' seats... In summer of 2015, I traveled from Saint Louis, Missouri, to Kansas City, Missouri, for a concert, which is about a four-hour drive. Well, we made it as far as three hours into the four-hour trip (well over half of the way there) and realized that we brought everything we needed except for the concert tickets themselves. We had already made a... (more)
Pros
This car has amazing gas mileage. It's not up there with electric hybrids, but it is very efficient and runs clean. With regular maintenance and tune ups, there has never been one single issue with it. Comfort is another big plus with my 2010 Ford Focus. I have worked at car dealerships in the past, so I've driven my fair share of makes and models of vehicles. One of the things I noticed when driving so many different cars is that some have extremely uncomfortable seats and positions of the seats. My 2010 Focus has extremely comfortable seats, even when driving hours at a time.
Cons
The only negatives that I can think about when it comes to my Ford Focus would be available features. It comes with all of the good ones, A/C, heat, automatic windows, etc. However, unlike many of the cars that came out around the same time, I am missing the electronic seat adjuster. This is a big one, because my girlfriend and I share this vehicle, and we choose to sit in different positions. An electronic seat would make that quicker and easier for us.

Great priced vehicles. I drove five hours to purchase my truck and I am very happy with the deal. I got exactly what I wanted at a very fair price. I paid cash so I cannot talk about financing options.

We have purchased several vehicles from this dealership and have almost always had a good experience. They have helped us find vehicles that matched what we were looking for or had one brought in if they didn’t have one in stock. They’ve never had an issue getting is approved even with less than stellar credit.
