Great little car.
My vehicle is really cute. It's small. But not too small. It runs really well. I've owned it since 2012 and it is really quiet when running. I've only had cosmetic issues with the car which is the only negatives for the car. So, the automatic buttons for the windows and locks on the drivers side door broke and fell a little down into the door. Still usable but annoyingly placed. The same thing then happened on the passenger side. Just seemed cheaply made in that part.

Cheap and reliable.
The Yaris model I purchased was literally the cheapest car on the Toyota dealer's lot, priced right at $10,000. If you are looking for frills and comfort, this is not the car for you. No power windows or power locks, no automatic transmission, no built-in GPS. It's Basic with a capital 'B.' If you want absolutely reliable, problem-free transportation, though? The Yaris cannot be beat. In the decade I've had it, I have not had to pay for a single repair, other than normally-scheduled maintenance. In the middle of winter? It's going to start 100% of the time and handle well on snowy or wet roads. The back seat is reasonably roomy and the trunk offers a surprising amount of storage. It's not the most powerful car around. You feel like a minnow swimming in a shark tank when you're driving on the interstate with larger and more powerful vehicles. For daily commuting, though, it's great. The small size makes it easy to park and the gas mileage in town is close to 40 MPG. The one oddity is the placement of the speedometer and other gauges. Rather than being in the driver's line of sight, all the dashboard displays are in the center of the car. Presumably, this is a cost-cutting measure that saves Toyota from having to retool the dashboard and wiring for left-side driving countries.

I really liked the price on this vehicle and the sales team was very friendly. The location was a factor as well.
