This car is one of the best I have ever owned. I toss it an oil change and new tires occasionally, but that is all the maintenance it has ever required. I bought it used because the engine sounded good, the body looked good, and it came highly rated in consumer magazines. It has always been reliable for me.
Story
I work with elderly people. When I got this new-to-me car, a 93 year old man could not believe this Camry was not brand new. It looks in great shape, and is an attractive sedan.
Pros
It gets good gas mileage. It is a 4 cylinder engine, but it has always had almost as much "Zip" (pick-up) as any 6 cylinder engine car I have owned. Although the car is 12 years old, I see many of the same model and year on the road so its longevity is very good. It has never let me down by not starting or by breaking down when I am driving. The air conditioner and heater work perfectly. This model has a sunroof, and a good factory installed radio/CD player/tape deck.
Cons
Unfortunately, at 12 years old, it took awhile for the fact to show up that the air bags are from the company that made millions of defective air bags. Thus the air bags are not safe. After 12 years the glass covers on the front lights are getting cloudy, but there is a fix for that. I have owned this car for three years, and the engine is starting to sound older now. As far as comfort in the interior goes, it is fine in the front seat but my 6'2" son complains that he is crowded when he has to sit in the back.

This is my first new car. I went from a used 1994 Camry to a 2014 Camry and let me tell you, 20 years is a long time for progress. The ride is smooth, the seat adjusts well to my height, the passenger seats are roomy and the trunk has lots of storage. Love the feel of the steering wheel; it has a good weight and the rear-view camera is super useful. My gripes are with the new technology, both great and sometimes irritating. The car can sometimes want to "drive for me." With old cars, I hit the gas and it goes at the rate I apply pressure. This car can sometimes take off when I lightly tap the gas. Doesn't happen often but is a bit irritating when I feel that it wants control. The tire pressure checker is also great but tends to go off when the weather is cold even though tires... (more)
Story
Work is relatively close to my house. I've had the vehicle for two years and have driven less than ten thousand miles so once a year during the summer, I take it on a long road trip to stretch its legs.
Pros
I love the roomy seats, the rear-view camera, the large trunk and smoothness of the ride. The USB charger, power seating and Bluetooth aren't bad features either.
Cons
Sometimes the vehicle wants to "drive for me." With so much electrical and technology built in it, I fear that any little thing can be an issue compared to the old school models.

There is no pressure whatsoever. The dealers take their time with you and sell you what you want instead of telling you what you want. The financial office is very good about explaining exactly what is going on.

Munsterman was a very nice guy. Really seemed to go out of his way to help us look through his options and to find the best option for us. Smaller lot, but he really took the time to talk to us every time we came back from a test drive, and really got to know us. Felt like someone we had known for a long time.
