At first glance, not many would be interested in a station wagon these days. Once one gets past the outward appearance of the vehicle, the performance of the engine and the comfort of the ride will win them over. My wagon has a 3.0 liter dual overhead cam engine and has an impressive amount of torque and horsepower The interior is really very comfortable, even for larger drivers and passengers (I am 6 feet 5 inches and weigh just over 300 pounds.) As far as quality goes, I didn't expect much because I am not a Ford person...I normally tend to lean toward the GM vehicles, but in this particular case, I was able to purchase this vehicle with less than 90,000 miles and have had very few problems. Upon purchase, I changed the oil, changed the plugs and wires, and changed the air filt... (more)
Story
The most fun I had in the wagon is giving a co-worker a ride to McDonalds during lunch. The reason I called this car a sleeper is no one expects much performance out of it. My co-worker got in the car and we started out normally, when we got to the road, he said "does this thing have enough power to get out into traffic?" I floored it and the front tires started squealing and it through him... (more)
Pros
The top positive points about the car are its comfort while driving and the performance of the engine. The car is surprisingly comfortable for a mid-range sedan or wagon. There is plenty of leg room both for the people in the front as well as the people in the back of the car. As for the performance of the car, I was pleased to find the car had 4 wheel anti lock brakes in order to help slow the very energetic 3.0 liter dual overhead cam v6.
Cons
There were not many negative points I noticed about this vehicle with the possible exception of the body style (station wagon is not exactly stylish) and the gas mileage. For cars, the car gets low range gas mileage, about 24 mpg combined. My last vehicle got around 30 mpg.

2007 Ford Taurus - Reliable car.

This car was a four door, four passenger car that was a very steady and good car. The maintenance was low and I didn't have much of a problem with it. The MPG was a little on the low side for the city. But over all I loved this car. If I had to choose it again, I probably would.
Story
I loved going to the drive in movie theater with this car because we could pack the trunk full of snacks for a triple showing!
Pros
It had a sunroof and fit four adults safely. The trunk was huge and held a lot of things including groceries, furniture (still in the box), helped me move across the US twice. Never broke down. Did have a flat, but the extra wheel was safe enough to drive on a few days before I found the money for new tires. Good family car.
Cons
The gas mileage wasn't the best for in city. It was about 17 to the gallon. I didn't like the seats because I felt like I had to adjust them a lot. It had a keypad unlock but I never used it because I felt it was unnecessary and shouldn't have been on it. The pick up on it was slow so don't pull into traffic expecting to go fast.

I appreciated the honesty of the salesman. He was more interested in finding what I wanted rather than just sell me anything. He answered my questions thoroughly. He made suggestions that showed he was interested in exactly what I wanted. He helped me find a car suited to my needs.

They really worked with me to get us in the car we wanted. They gave me more than my 2011 escape was worth and we have almost the exact same payment on our 2016 explorer.
