The hybrid version of the Honda Accord Touring edition provides the steady practicality I have come to expect from Honda. In fact, the car also includes some extras that make it feel like a luxury car, including programmable leather seats and a roomy interior. However, the gas mileage is a disappointing at 35 miles per gallon for a hybrid, and far less than advertised by the dealer.
Story
I really enjoyed a recent spring-like day when I was able to drive around with the windows down, the sunroof open, and play songs from my iPhone via Bluetooth. The car had a smooth, fun ride that made it a pleasure to drive on such a nice day.
Pros
The best thing about this vehicle is its practicality and reliability. Hondas are known for providing steady, reliable transportation for hundreds of thousands of miles, and this car is no different. Because this is the Touring edition, the car includes high-end features like rear and side-view cameras, and programmable leather seats. The car also features Bluetooth with optional Sirius satellite radio, GPS map service, and a dual-screen interior computer that also serves to control the phone, radio, and map functions. The car has a beautiful interior and an incredibly smooth ride. Adaptiv... (more)
Cons
The biggest con about this car is its poor gas mileage. The dealer advertised a respectable 55 miles per gallon, which is what I have come to expect from a Honda hybrid. However, after driving the car for roughly two years and tracking my gas mileage consistently, it is clear that the car reaches a maximum of 35 miles per gallon. This hybrid car is too expensive to provide such low gas mileage, which is why I would hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

I drive a 2009, royal blue, Honda Accord DX. I purchased the car from my father back in 2012 and paid it off about two years ago. My Honda handles well, is easy to maneuver in the city and on highways. The car gets decent gas mileage and has had few mechanical issues. The car has good interior space and storage and is comfortable to ride in and drive. Since purchasing the car, I have had very minimal repair issues and wear outside of standard car repairs and maintenance.
Story
I drove my car from Cincinnati, Ohio to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with my son, and it was a very fun and beautiful car trip.
Pros
I like Hondas because they are fairly economical in price and have long lifespans. Hondas also tend to retain a higher value for longer than other cars. My car is reliable, handles well, and in my experience, can be driven for well over 200,000 before needing significant repairs and replacement parts. The car is fairly inconspicuous, and simple, which I like. I think Hondas have decent safety features, and I feel secure enough driving it with my son. My favorite features are the seats, steering, and storage space.
Cons
My Honda Accord sits fairly low to the ground and becomes somewhat noisy inside when I drive it on the highway. The A/C unit and speaker system could be improved upon, as they don't really feel or sound that great in the back seat. I want there to be more trunk space and easier access to the trunk from the interior. The frame around the bumper and windows feels a little cheap and flimsy.

I bought my first car from them, when I was fresh out of school. I was on my own in a new city where I didn't really know anyone, and didn't know how to go about buying a car. I went to this Honda dealership as it was down the street from where I was living at the time. I had test driven cars back at home in another state and knew that I wanted a Civic, it was just a matter of finding the car for the right price. I went to the counter and asked the sales manager how much the car would be and he looked at me and saw that I was young and inexperienced and instead of taking advantage of that asked me how much I wanted to pay for the car and I told him and he said okay, that's what it would be. He then let me leave to ask around at other dealerships - all of which laughed at me when I told... (more)
