Our salesman was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were well taken care of. The dealership gave us a great trade-in for my old car. They let us take the van overnight to try it out. The dealership was clean and had activities for our children while we bought the car. There was coffee and plenty of snacks for us while we waited.

Germain Honda, formerly Howard Cooper Honda, is where I bought my 2006 Honda Civic years ago when it was new. I got a great resale value on my 2003 Mini Cooper at the time, and have had great (though not inexpensive) routine maintenance on my Civic several times since then. This dealership has had a great reputation for decades and I would recommend it to anyone.

My 2003 Honda Accord LX has been a great car for me. Though it has been in an accident, it still is running and performing well. My Honda Accord LX gets great gas mileage. It can get as much as 30 MPG highway and 20+ in the city. Gas mileage is an important factor for me when I choose to purchase a vehicle. I also feel that the the engine is great and keeps on trucking despite other problems. Hondas are pretty ubiquitous, so I have been able to find spare parts easily. I also like that when I push on the accelerator pedal, my Honda Accord just goes, with no lagging feeling. My Honda Accord is pretty roomy on the interior also, for getting such good gas mileage! It's bigger than it looks from the outside. I find it to be kind of roomy and luxurious. It has a lot of cab space and good tr... (more)
Story
I have had fun driving this car up and down Woodward Avenue in Detroit, MI.
Pros
My favorite features of this vehicle are: 1) Great gas mileage - I get about 30 MPG highway and 20+ in the city. I can buy a tank of gas and it will get me to and from work, the grocery store, etc with no problem. I save a lot of money on gas with this car. 2) This car is roomy. It has a lot more space than you would think for a sedan of its size. The trunk space is ample. I have a lot of room as the driver and can fit up to four passengers. 3) This car is reliable. It gets where it is going and the engine keeps on kicking. I have owned this car for 2+ years now and it is going strong. ... (more)
Cons
The top negative things about my 2003 Honda Accord Are: 1) It has a 6 Disc CD Changer but no Auxiliary Cord. I would prefer to be able to plug in my iPod or iPhone, but I'll take when I can get. At least 6 CDs is a lot. 2) The sound system is only OK. Newer cars have a lot better sound systems. 3) Honda keys are poorly made. Both my key casings have broken and are held together with tape. I would have to buy replacement key casings which would cost around $10.00 and I shouldn't have to do that. 4) I think the color of my car is only OK. 5) If my car were a little bit newer it might h... 1997 Honda Accord - Excellent Vehicle for the Price

I bought this car used for $1200 with 185,000 miles on it. Despite the area that it was kept being notorious for terrible Winters, it had very little rust, no squeaks or rattles and no suspension issues what so ever. For it being a 1997 I was exceptionally pleased with the fact that there were also no leaks. A year later and 30,000 miles put into it, I have only had to change the brakes, and the distributer cap. It reliably starts up perfect every single time with out fail and runs beautifully. The gas mileage it receives for being as old as it is absolutely phenomenal considering how expensive gas is these days. I can easily drive a full week back and forth to my job 5 miles away plus other miscellaneous trips to various stores and other errands on less than 20$ in gas per week. Very... (more)
Story
I took this car for the first time on a road trip to Cincinnati to see some family and was actually a tad nervous about taking such an old car on the freeway for such a long trip despite it being in terrific condition. Driving through downtown Detroit on the freeway at 6am with the sunroof open and all the windows down was a wonderful experience. The car handled great, it ran smoothly the whol... (more)
Pros
Some of my favorite things about this car are easily the price of maintenance being exceptionally low, repair parts cost exceptionally less than most cars on the road currently, because it's a common car these days lots of mechanics know how to work on them so finding a good shop is easy, the gas mileage is amazing especially for it being nearly 20 years old, the engine is well built and very reliable, the suspension is very solid for something that drives on Michigan's terrible roads all the time, the seats are comfortable and well made which is also a huge plus for someone who enjoys roa... Cons
The cd changer is located in the trunk, which was a common feature in cars in that era from what I understand, however it can be a hassle on a road trip to have to stop to get in the trunk to change cds, as it only holds 6 so often we resort to using a tape adapter and a portable cd player in the car so we can just change out cds that way. Also, the powered windows are a personal distaste of mine simply because the motors can burn out causing the window to no longer operate properly. It does sit fairly low to the ground so you have to be extra careful when driving over larger potholes and ... (more)

I enjoy that it has good mileage and it only takes about $30 on average to fill the tank. It is very reliable and doesn't break down often. It is very spacious despite being a smaller car. I don't like that the car is prone to misalignment on bumpy roads and I've gotten a few flat tires on it as well. It is more susceptible to road damage than an SUV is.
Story
My favorite thing about this car was taking it on a road trip across Michigan for relatively cheap. I only had to fill up twice and I was able to fit all my stuff in it easy.
Pros
Mileage per gallon, spacious, reliable.
Cons
Not quiet enough, bad tires.
