Prior to buying my Accord I owned a Ford, and it had so many mechanical problems. After 15 years and 90,000 plus miles my Accord has had absolutely zero problems. Yes, I have replaced the tires, and had the factory suggested maintenance done on time, but have never, ever had an unexpected repair. It is hard to describe how anxious I was to turn the key of that piece of junk Ford and hope it started, yet now I do not even consider my Accord will ever fail me.

My 2001 Honda Accord is everything I could want out of a car, especially when I need it to bridge the gap for me between college and the working world. It has been very reliable, not requiring any erroneous repairs that aren't routine maintenance. The leather interior and wood paneling give the car a modern look that has really held up despite it's now 17 years of age. The exterior of the car looks great. I love the design of the 2001 Accord. However, the gold color is not my favorite, but that's absolutely not a deal-breaker. It performs well, has very strong acceleration and makes me feel like I can get around almost anything. One of the smoothest rides I have experienced as well. The gas mileage is also quite satisfactory, getting about 30 MPG-highway. It handles turns quite well and has the power steering necessary to make turns with easy without being overly sensitive. The gas peddle is, however, a little sensitive. The car has great viewing angles and makes seeing my surroundings quite easy. Blind spots are minimal, and I very rarely feel uneasy regarding my position in relation to other cars on the road.
