There was a very personable salesman. He was willing to treat me as someone who knew what she wanted. He accepted that I knew price I was willing to pay. He realized that I had done my research. I appreciated his work to find the exact car I wanted.

Very helpful and friendly salesmen willing to negotiate. They took a lot of time to show me around the lot and sales floor to look at different models. Test driving went well with no pressure. Really fell in love with the civic, and purchasing was a hassle-free experience.

One of the best things I love about my Honda Accord is the reliability. I have owned multiple Hondas in my life, and each one seems better than the last. I have never had any real big issues with either Honda I have owned. The gas mileage is perfect for road trips or just in the city driving. I would have liked to get a fully loaded Accord with all of the leather seats and touch screen navigation. The brake pads and rotors have had to be replaced relatively quickly, which I was surprised about. All in all, I think the Accord is a very great car for the money. High-quality compared to what you pay. I am very pleased to own a car like my 2009 Honda Accord.
Story
Packing my 5 seat Accord up with five grown men and traveling four hours to a Redskins game. Not a whole lot of room in the coupe!
Pros
The most positive thing about the 2009 Honda Accord is the reliability. These cars almost never break down on you. I love the moon/sun roof combination - perfect for cool summer night driving. The gas mileage for these cars are superb as well.
Cons
I think the most negative thing I have noticed about my Honda Accord are having to replace the brakes relatively quickly. I feel like they could have used a more top of the line braking components to prevent this. Not a huge deal however. Also, there has been an issue with a piston sticking, causing higher than normal oil consumption. This is a factory issue and they have issued warranty extensions to fix this problem.

I have driven Honda for the last 5 years and I am very impressed with it. My wife used to dislike any car that was not Chevy, but she now drives a Honda Accord, too. My 1997 Honda is obviously old, but only when I mention '97. Cosmetically, it is still in a relatively good condition; no rust or dents. The body is hard, and it has not been effected by sun and overall weather for the several years it has been on the road. Mechanically, I sometimes forget that I am driving a 97 car. The engine is still powerful, has good power and I haven't had to do any major work on it since I bought it. The engine reads over 283k miles and I have no doubt that it will hit 320K miles with no problems and possibly 350k. My wife's Accord is doing equally great although we got it at the beginning of this y... (more)
Story
I have made several long trips with it. I have been to Dallas (from Kansas City) a couple times and been to several other places and I haven't had any problem with it.
Pros
My Honda accord has a very good mpg. I get 28-30 mpg which isn't bad considering that it is well over 17 years old. It doesn't break down on me. I haven't had to do anything to it since I bought it besides the normal maintenance. Cosmetically, it is in good shape. It has no rust (no signs of rust either) and with its hard body, it has no dents. It looks great just the way it is. It's got fashion even if it was made several years ago. It has a nice sun roof...I can't forget to mention that.
Cons
I haven't had any issues with it. Other than the oil leak that I was told to expect, there is nothing really to say about its negatives. Maybe the fact that it is a foreign car and always feel bad not being patriotic enough to buy American...but I just can't help it.

My 2007 Honda Accord SE LX is a reliable, quality vehicle meant to last. The interior is mostly in great shape after 9 years of driving. Only the driver's seat leather and steering wheel show signs of wear (likely due to contact with construction-like materials). There are 97,000 miles on the engine with no interior rattles and no major electronic failures to date. I've once had to replace bulbs with the interior lights, once had to replace the blower motor for the A/C, and I elected to replace the timing belt/water pump at 85,000 miles which will make the car last for years more. The brakes have been replaced several times as one would expect, but no more than what is reasonable for city driving. There is no rust on the exterior, the rims have been replaced once due to corrosion (I've... (more)
Story
I brought both of my babies (now 8 & 7) home from the hospital in this car, and I'm not looking forward to the day I must trade.
Pros
Long-lasting, low maintenance, spacious, quality inside and out. User-friendly features. Safe.
Cons
Would prefer a tighter seal with the windows to prevent easy fogging in cold weather. Would prefer rims that aren't susceptible to the usual corrosion.
