Ever since I drove a Honda for a company car 20 years ago, I have always driven Hondas. I never have any problems with them, and they get great gas mileage. I am also speaking of my 2005 Honda Civic because I just bought the 2013 certified-preowned a year ago when the other one got wrecked. I had that one for over 220,000 miles because I initially used it for work travel, and it only broke down once. The time it broke down was a timing chain/belt that broke, and I was told that on most cars that would total it, but on a Honda, it was an easy fix. If that car hadn't been wrecked, I think I could have pushed it to maybe 260,000 miles. This new one I am just a tad upset with. I have never bought a used car and didn't want to, but the price was so much cheaper. I made sure to get a ... (more)
Story
I take it out to the lake. We have a little area out here that has a "beach" set up on the lake, and we park our cars and kind of "tail-gate." My car is a nice compact size for parking out there.
Pros
I still love my Honda...it gets great gas mileage and rides smooth. It's a nice sized car and has lots of room.
Cons
I will say my other nugget is that this is the second Honda in a row that the "cigarette lighter" charger doesn't work! Luckily, this one also has a USB port in the console.

2015 Honda Civic - The best car if you spend a lot of time traveling.

I had heard great things about Honda, so I started looked for a used Honda. I noticed there were none on the car lots. The dealer said they didn't get many used Honda's because people tended to keep them. I totally see why. This car has great gas mileage. I easily get 35 miles to the gallon. But the difference from other cars is I am not giving anything up in style or comfort to get that kind of gas mileage. The style of the car is very sleek and sporty. It is extremely comfortable to drive. It handles great. I love how quiet the cabin is compared to other comparable vehicles. I am also impressed with all the features and technology used in my Civic. I would have never thought I would get all the features I have for such a low price. I love that it is Bluetooth capable. The hands-free ... (more)
Story
I recently carpooled with a friend who owned a Honda Civic when she was in high school. She now drives a higher-price, luxury car. She admitted that she wasn't expecting much from my car. She was shocked at how nice my car was. She said she couldn't believe the quality for the price I paid, and said it was nothing like the car she drove in high school.
Pros
The gas mileage was the best feature of this car. But the styling of the car is great. It is a really sleek little car. The inside appears really stylish. I don't feel like I am giving anything up in looks or comfort to get that great mileage.
Cons
The only negative I can say about this vehicle is that sometimes it takes a minute or two to sync to the Bluetooth. It is also hard to switch users sometimes.
