I recently leased a 2010 Honda Civic EX. From the onset, the color and look of the vehicle was satisfactory as I was more interested in internal performance. Milage wasn't too high and the Carfax report revealed no past service issues. Since I've been using it, I haven't had any problems to speak of. I'd say that this was a sound purchase.
Story
I had used the vehicle to make a long trip up to New York nd basically it made the journey quite comfortable.
Pros
Dependability as well well as the good city/highway mileage. The 1.8 liter gets around 30 mpg. It's used for commuting in and out of the city, so it helps that it sips on the gas tank. Also, the safety features were an added plus and the A/C-Heat has had no issues thus far. The interior console panel is laid out pretty decently, nothing is blocking the view or crammed together. The shifter has a smooth operation and the transmission runs perfectly.
Cons
Wish there was a bit more power but the good mileage would be affected. The car can be a bit light when things get windy on the highway.

I've generally liked this vehicle. It was originally bought as my husband's car but I needed something more reliable than mine because I did a lot of driving for my work. The car has proven to be very reliable, has well over 200,000 miles on the odometer and still runs very well. The interior is comfortable if not fancy, there's a surprising amount of space in the trunk. The gas mileage is excellent and we've only had to replace the battery once. My only complaints are that visibility from inside the car could be better and the body seems a little bit flimsy.
Story
I ride and board my horse at a nearby barn. I don't like leaving all my horse equipment there where somebody might pick it up. So my car doubles as my shed and I even refer to it as that.
Pros
What is really nice about this vehicle is the gas mileage (being a hybrid). The engine and most of the systems are very rugged. We've driven this car through all kinds of conditions and situations. For an older car, it runs relatively quietly and we rarely have to have any repairs at all. Although it's not a big car, it has plenty of space, especially with only two people. We can load the thing all up. I also think for a small, older car it provides a pretty comfortable ride.
Cons
There are problems with visibility from the driver's seat. I have trouble seeing anything behind the car and have to be careful when backing it up. I'm 5'1, and don't recall having this problem with any other vehicle. Also, the exterior body seems a little bit fragile, it has a lot of dings from things hitting it. It is also low-slung enough that the front bumper actually got hung up on the concrete "stopper" in a parking space, and has not looked right since.

This dealership really made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I would have walked away immediately if I EVER felt pressure from them, and I never told them that. I never did. I felt the people in the sales and finance departments did their jobs perfectly. I felt they really wanted me to be happy with my decision, and I never felt any pressure.

I made contact with the sales person over phone, then we continued to communicate over email. It took us about 3 days of email exchanges to get started on our negotiation on a car that I wanted. I walked in, met with the sales person and finalized the deal. I did not feel pushed or harassed at all and in the end, I felt it was a win-win situation, regardless of the truth.
