Honda Civic Owner Ratings & Reviews

2012 Honda Civic - Solid, albeit, small vehicle
The Civic is a fantastic, small, reliable car. We have had very little issue with the maintenance of the car, the gas mileage is great, and we've overall been generally very pleased. The seats are comfortable, and fit my husband's rather large frame nicely. The truck is also huge — he's had a Christmas tree in the trunk for a year without needing additional space! Although, having leg room in the front and a big trunk does make the back seat a little tight.
Story
The car is super zippy! I love driving it to the store when there aren't many people around and taking the corners much faster than I can in my bigger vehicle!
Pros
The Civic gets excellent gas mileage, is an easy and fun car to drive, and requires very little maintenance. There's tons of room in the front.
Cons
The car is very little. Although, I believe it's rated well for safety. Whenever I drive it, I worry a little about how it would fare in an accident with a larger vehicle. As low to the ground as it is, it's also hard to see around bigger vehicles. Everyone has an SUV, which makes this thing tiny! Also, the back bumper tends to flake off or have other cosmetic issues. A mechanic friend of ours said when they get trade in Civics, they just always plan to paint the bumper.
2007 Honda Civic - Best bang for the Buck
I love my 2007 Honda Civic. I bought it used about a year ago and have been loving it all the way. Aside from regular maintenance it does not need much. It gives amazing mileage, considering the age of the car, about 38 MPG. The car has held up to time, looking pretty good comparing to come current cars. It has easier maintenance routines and most of the things, provided you have the right tool, can done by yourself. It does not have great power, but it is quick enough to speed into lanes and accelerate rapidly if necessary. Seats are plenty comfortable, although they are just cloth seats. There is a little bit of road noise when you drive on highways, but it could be due to older tired. I should know this once I change to newer tires in a year or two. The ac is pretty quick to cool, c... (more)
Story
There was this one time I was on a long road trip, and my car gave 41 mpg. This was a shocker as it a fairly old car.
