I really have enjoyed driving this Honda Civic for the last 16 years. Most importantly, this car still runs at 16 years old. It's a comfortable ride. It has good fuel economy. The vehicle's small size makes ideal for finding parking spaces here in the city. The interior has held up very well for 16 years of use and nine of those years are with kids riding along. I didn't know I was going to have a family when I got the car, but it has been a very practical family car. In addition to the parents up front, we were able to fit two car seats in the back. And sometime we were able squeeze in a small fifth passenger on the back seat. While the car has not been problem-free, the problems have been relatively few over the years. Story
While driving around a friend from out of town, I meant to go to the Lincoln Memorial, but I accidently turned onto a bridge to Virginia. My friend noted how sad it was that I lived in a place with all this stuff and clearly hadn't been accessing it.
Pros
It's still running well although it's old. My favorite feature is the impractical and rarely used moon roof.
Cons
The radio doesn't work even after the mechanic re-entered the radio code.

I have always driven used Honda Civics, but my third one (2010) has had more problems than I generally have experienced. I purchased my current one with 30k miles on it, and though it drives fine, things keep breaking. In the first month of owning, I had to replace all the breaks, and 30k miles later, I'm having to replace them all again. I do live in a city, but this is ridiculous. In between the breaks, I've also had to replace the A/C compressor as well as some of the automatic sensors in the cars. Furthermore, this model looks a lot sleeker than previous models, and while it is pretty, it isn't too functional. The frame at the front of the windshield are at such a slanty angle, it is nearly impossible to see pedestrians at the street corners or if they are already crossing. ... (more)
Story
I was extremely proud of myself for successfully parallel parking the first attempt on the left side of the road while on a very steep hill in DC with many people behind me at night.
Pros
Cruise control, tire pressure sensor, back seat folds down for trunk access, large trunk, adaptors for technology, large cup holders, easy to set clock and radio stations and I can get 270 miles per tank on average in a city.
Cons
Front frame of car makes it very hard to see pedestrians, horn sounds pathetic, and it is a "longer" car, which makes parking a little harder.
