Reliable, good value, little car.
I bought my black 2005 Honda Civic Coupe about four years ago after my first car was on its last legs. I chose the Civic, because it was an incredible value (I've already managed to pay off my loan) and was noted to last a long while. While I've had to invest larger sums in it periodically (more on that in a bit), overall, the quality is high. I've had no major issues with electronic components or with the engine. It gets pretty decent mileage once you're on the highway. It's very lightweight and compact but is not uncomfortable, and the trunk space is very large (I've fit ten pieces of luggage in there, which is great when you're going on a big road trip or vacation). I did recently have to get my struts replaced, as they started leaking which was a large investment, but considering I'd put almost 50,000 miles on the car at this point, I can't complain. My old car had worn out after a year of making the 500-mile roundtrip from my hometown to my partner's college town every month or so, but my Civic has handled semi-regular lengthy road trips extremely well.

It is reliable but lacks power.
It is reliable. I bought it as a second owner from a dealer. It was pre-certified and so far didn't have any major issues though the tires had to be replaced less than two years after purchase. It is easy to park just because it is on a small side. I don't like the digital speedometer. I much prefer analog to find out how fast I am driving. The interior looks and feels cheap. It is fabric and collect lints and dust. The seat must be adjusted manually, which is cumbersome. There is no back-up camera, which is inconvenient and less safe. The driver set's fabric is pretty worn out. The color is grey, and it got scratched while parked in a shopping center. It may be the body paint was not of high quality. It is an OK car but I miss V6's power. This car doesn't accelerate fast enough on the onramp to highways. I need to use a lower gear on an uphill road. The A/C is weak. It takes a while to cool down the interior. It has an A/C Max dial but it seems irrelevant. The trunk space is on a small side but is expected for a Civic. Tire pressure warning gauge is always on. The mechanic reset it, and there is enough air in the tires but the warning light comes on. It is annoying. Initially I was worried, but I have given up on it. It is probably a bad sensor. It is a Honda and I expect it has a good resale value. I only drive this car when I am in town. I try to avoid driving it on highways or for long trips.
