The Honda Odyssey runs and drives like a car, not a van. The vehicle is very spacious and easily converted into a work van. It can be converted back by folding down the seats and taking out the second row. The car is from 2008 but still has advanced features such as an electronic adapter and input. Even without advanced features such as power doors and a television, the car is still thoroughly enjoyed by the family.
Story
We were able to fit so much hear in the back of the van that a were able to go bike riding, fishing, play baseball and picnicing without having to return home.
Pros
The car runs and drives like a car. The car that is most similar is the Honda Accord. Not only does it drive like a car, it also costs less in maintenance because it takes car tires and parts you would usually find on a sedan. The car is also spacious. Numerous times all seats have been taken out and it has been used to haul everything from plywood to furniture.
Cons
Biggest drawback is that it's a base model. There are no extra features or automatic doors, which probably means there are less things to break. The car is also not that "cool" to drive since it is a minivan. Being a kid hauler, it is also difficult to keep clean. Some of The plastic interior looks cheap.

2006 Honda Odyssey - Very reliable and lots of options.

The Honda Odyssey is one of the nicest cars I have owned. I bought it used and have owned it for over six years. I have had to put very little money into it. It has held up very nicely and doesn't look like a car that is 11 years old. There are lots of things I really enjoy about my van. It has all power options and heated front, leather seats. I especially enjoy the moon roof when the weather is warmer. It gets decent gas mileage. It is very spacious and roomy. My son plays hockey, and we have plenty of room for his gear and a couple friends and their gear, too. It has a nice turning radius and rides comfortably.
Story
We take many trips out of town and out of state to play hockey. Sometimes we carpool. Everyone loves it when I drive, because my van has the most room and plenty of comfort and options for the kids and adults.
Pros
The pros of this van are: leather interior, power windows and doors, child safety locks, moon roof, built in navigation system, lots of seating, rear seats fold for lots of storage room, DVD player, sliding rear doors so children don't throw the door open and hit the car parked beside you. Good on gas, and buttons on steering wheel for radio control. Cruise control.
Cons
Does not have AWD. Does not perform well in the snow and wintery conditions, even with good snow tires.
