The 2009 Honda Pilot is fantastic. It has great performance and is well made. Honda delivers again with the 2009 Honda Pilot. It has leather trim, satellite radio, and fantastic looking tires. The center console has ample storage for families with lots of wipes. There are also several other storage options in the vehicle that make it useful for the long trips and the everyday drives. The Pilot is easy to convert and change seats in to different locations, and with this model, the headrests do not have to be removed for storage like the older models. It has 160,000 miles and is still going strong.
Story
Took the pilot to a football game two hours away with three car seats and four adults, and it was awesome, easy, and comfortable.
Pros
The Honda Pilot is very comfortable for long trips. However, it is a great family car. Three car seats can be fit across the back seat if you have bench seats. This car seats seven adults with ease.
Cons
Gas mileage for this vehicle is not great. In fact, it is very poor. So if you are looking for a budget friendly car, this is not the one for you. Also, to make matters worse, repairs on the 2009 Honda Pilot are super expensive. The Honda is also a boxy in look which hurts the gas mileage.

The Honda Pilot is a well-thought-out vehicle with plenty of space for a large family or a family that needs extra storage space for sports gear, road trips, etc. This eight-seater is comfortable, functional and very aesthetically pleasing. Driver and passenger seats come with optional seat warmers for cooler climates, and electronic controls are provided to easily adjust seat positions. There is a middle console area that provides two cup holders, a storage compartment and two additional spaces for items you need at your fingertips while driving. There is a sliding door that conceals one of the storage areas, which can also be completely closed to provide a large flat surface instead of the cup holders. Dashboard info (speed, clock, notifications) is highly visible, and four separate ... (more)
Story
We have driven our Honda Pilot on three road trips without incident. It has been to Niagara Falls, New York, Hershey, Penn., and across the states of Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and South Dakota.
Pros
I love that this vehicle tells me when any of the doors are open (it also signals which door), when tire pressure is low (again, it specifies which tire) and when the oil needs to be changed. In addition, there is a rear camera for assistance with backing up, which makes parallel parking much simpler. Also, the rear seats fold down with ease.
Cons
One thing that passengers sitting in the third row have told me on longer drives is that they wish the seats reclined a little like the second row of seats.

I enjoyed this dealership because they had a larger selection of the vehicle I was looking for including certified used vehicles with a warranty. I liked that because it was a Honda Dealership, the salesman knew about the vehicles including the used ones and was able to efficiently and clearly teach me all the workings of the vehicle. Also, they did well in finding me financing that was a good option.
