This vehicle is a good SUV for people with children or people who live to travel. Our family takes a few road trips a year and needed something to carry our luggage and ourselves, as well as friends in. This SUV seats up to 8 people and has removable seating to make for more trunk space if your carrying less passengers. The quality of this SUV is fantastic as we've had ours for 7 years and had limited problems with the SUV. It's mainly just been part replacements which is expected. The Honda Pilot has 4 wheel drive and makes it easy to drive in snow. The seating is very comfortable and we were able to add seat heaters on as an extra feature for a very low cost. The interior is very spacious and I like that my knees don't hit the dashboard or back of the seats when sitting in it. It see... (more)
Pros
The top positive features of this vehicle are the folding/removable seats and the extra features such as the built-in back up camera/GPS and heated seats. Being able to remove the seats in this vehicle provides for a lot of room and as we normally travel just the two of us in my family, we don't need as many seats as we need luggage space. It's also made moving furniture or heavy pieces much easier as dressers and even some recliners fit in this trunk. The built in back up camera and GPS is a great extra feature that can be added for a low cost and makes it very easy to park or get directi... (more)
Cons
This vehicle doesn't have many cons however I do have one complaint which would be the back windshield wipers. Both the front windshield and back windshield have windshield wipers. The front ones work fine as long as you replace them but the back ones have had issues since we got the SUV. They constantly get stuck even with regular replacement.

I like my Honda Pilot very much, it has a lot of room, drives nice and has a lot of power. Looks good, goes in all kinds of weather, you have the confidence you can go not matter what the road conditions are. Not so good on gas in the city, better on open road. It rides about 8 people for large families and if you put the 2 back seats down, gives you plenty of room to carry things. I don't like the back hatch back door it's heavy and with things in your hands it's hard to reach up and close. No front seat cup holders. High off the ground, a little hard getting in if your short, but mine have running boards which make a big difference. Tires are expensive to replace, because they are so big. My Pilot has AM-FM radio, DVD player which it great for the children on long trips, cassette pl... (more)

At times hard to see if another car is approaching on either side, I have to completely turn my head around to make sure a car is not beside me.

This is the perfect car for a busy family. It seats eight people, so it's great for those carpools! We had a Ford Explorer previously and love this upgrade. It seems just slightly larger from the outside, but the internal space is dramatically better. We travel up to our mountain cabin most weekends and this has a lot of room for our cooler, clothing, and supples. The seats fold in a 60/40 split, so if we're taking an extra person or have extra supplies we can adapt it. The third back-row seat folds down smoothly without much effort. Although it's a little tight for full grown adults, it works for short trips or kids. This car does great in the snow. We also pull a very heavy boat up some pretty steep hills. I don't think I'd want to pull that weight every day, but it doesn't protest w... (more)
Story
We left the back hatch open after unloading at the cabin in the mountains. (my bad!) The console was full of peanut butter granola bars. That was too tempting for a bear. He tore up the console and took a bite out of the back seat. Amazingly the center console popped right back together, but I'm afraid the bite in the seat will be a permanent souvenir of his visit.
Pros
Seats eight with good storage Has been very reliable
Cons
Road noise is very noticeable
