Great car
My last car was a 2002 Hyundai Elantra. I loved it! I drove it as long as I could until it was time for a new car. There was no question that I would look at the new Elantras, and I am so happy that I did. The design is truly sleek and looks better than the old ones. The interior is beautiful. It is extremely reliable, and I have not had a single issue. The interior is roomy, and while seeming small, five adults can fit comfortably. Even my aging dog loves jumping in and going for a drive since the ride is so smooth. I love the trunk space. My wife can fit all the groceries from our monster shopping trips, and the hooks and net makes it easy to keep the fragile items from breaking. The car is responsive, and I have never felt unsafe in it. I even love where the knobs on the dash are placed!

Built to last
I have had my Hyundai Elantra for about three years, bought it at 50,000, and still going strong at 175,000. It does great on gas, and I get good mileage out of it. I probably drive it for about 80 miles each day and make sure to change the oil every 7,500 miles. Other than some general maintenance issues that came up along the way (granted there are always going to be a few with the amount of mileage that I have put on it along the years), I haven't had any other kinds of significant problems to speak of. The car is very good on gas, and I love that it also has an eco button, which I've noticed saves me a lot of gas when I accidentally turn it off (and sincerely regret it!). I would absolutely love if my next car was a Hyundai based on the experiences that I've had with my car. The only complaint I have is that the outside of the car can crack, and the paint can chip off rather easily. I have a huge crack in my bumper, and I feel that the material could be a little bit stronger to prevent a little bump from turning into a huge crack or a dent. But I don't feel like this one small problem outweighs all of the positive things I have to say about my car.
