I love it.
This car is a great size for me. It's compact and easy to park, but the interior is very spacious. I've had three adults in the backseat, and they did not appear cramped. All seats are comfortable, and the driver's seat and steering wheel have great options for adjusting. My friend who is half a foot shorter than I am and I were both able to drive safely and comfortably when we took turns behind the wheel on a drive down the East Coast to Florida. The seat warmers get incredibly warm, which is important to me because I'm always cold. The trunk is really spacious as well, especially for such a small car. I love the styling of the exterior as well. The sleek lines and slightly swirled rims give the car a cool, sporty edge. The car drives really well. I took it on a cross-country road trip from the East Coast to the Grand Canyon, and there were no issues with performance. My car gets great gas mileage, averaging around 32 mpg for everyday usage and getting up to 40 for extended highway driving. I love being able to connect my phone to my car via Bluetooth to make hands-free calls, navigate with my phone through my car's speakers, and play music from apps on my phone.

Decent budget car
We bought this 2010 Hyundai Elantra used. It was certified by the dealer. We had driven compact cars before but from Toyota. We donÕt pick cars for status, but for reliability, fuel efficiency, and low cost. This car hit all those points, and it also had the advantage of having the transmission under warranty for ten years. That warranty came in handy after a few years use; Hyundai replaced the transmission when we ran into a problem with the original one. In general, the car was fairly reliable, though probably not quite as much as the Toyotas weÕve driven previously. The air conditioning was problematic at times. The interior door handles were cheap plastic and the edges snapped off of three of them, leaving jagged edges that drew blood on a couple of occasions. (These handles were later replaced at no cost after a recall; we had no problems with the replacements.) The car didnÕt have a lot of zip, but it got us where we needed to go. The car was roomy enough for our family of four. A nice feature was how the back seats could fold down to allow for hauling some things. There was a decent amount a room given the overall size of the car.

This is where I bought my first car. We were able to get the price down for a brand new car. I was allowed to select my vehicle from a variety of colors. All of the workers were friendly. They let my family take a break to think over the decision before we finalized everything.
