I purchased my 2005 Hyundai Elantra after having my other car totaled in an accident. It was priced appropriately. There was enough room in the car for my belongings without being cramped. The gas mileage was better than my previous car. The windows were tinted which was helpful for the hot Arizona sun. It handled well in rain and snow. It even handled mountain driving well without overheating. The interior had faux leather seats. It made it look higher end without the paying the price. I used to commute 60 minutes to work round trip five–six days a week. I now use it to carry my son and three dogs around. We drive to weekly dog tournaments. Sometimes three plus hours away. I have also camped out of this car comfortably. The sun roof was a nice added feature.
Story
I was trying to save money and not have to get a hotel room while at a tournament, so I camped in the car. I removed the trunk cover and put down the back seats so I could sleep comfortably. Being in Wisconsin, it can get quite cold at night, but I stayed cozy in the car!
Pros
Hatchback. Removable trunk cover. Faux-leather seats for easy clean up. Tinted windows. Sun roof. Nice silver color. Black accents/trim on the body. Good gas mileage. Handles well in all weather. Has A/C and heat. Spacious trunk. Plenty of room for passengers. Storage for spare tire. CD player. Easy to clean/wipe down interior.
Cons
After only a year of having the car, it blew the head gasket. Window tint started to peel. CD player stopped working. No auxiliary audio option. Minimal space for holding drinks. Cup holders not big enough for larger water bottles. Seats start to show wear. Faux leather shows scratches easily. Front and back bumpers easily damaged. Seems to have something wrong with it every few months. Sun roof only tips up or opens all the way. Windshield cleaner does not work. Backseat a little cramped for convertible car seats. Comes with carpeted floor mats. Windshield cracks easily.

2015 Hyundai Elantra - Great value and comfort.

This car has great power for its size and is very comfortable. The fuel economy was one of the main selling points for me but overall I have been very happy with how this vehicle handles. It is not the most stylish in it's class but it has everything that I could possibly need in a commuting car.
Story
I had parked in the lot at work and went into the building for the day. When I came out later to go home, the exact same car was parked a few spaces down from mine but I thought that this other car was mine. I tried my key but it didn't work. As I was trying to get into "my car" someone came up behind me and asked what I was doing with their car. I was embarrassed at first but we laughed and i... (more)
Pros
The fuel economy is terrific. The power is also impressive for a car this size. No problems building up speed to merge on the highway. The commonly used buttons and controls such is cruise control and wiper controls are all within easy reach and are simple to operate. The seats are very comfortable and very easy to adjust from one user to another to your own comfort level. I feel like this is a sturdy car and that I feel safe in this car. The price on this car was also very good and I feel like I got some value for my money.
Cons
I would like a little more head room in the front seat. The windshield comes in a little low in the front and while I have no trouble getting into the car, I would like a little more space around my head when I am sitting. I don't know that this car will hold it's value at all. This might be a car that I use until it just doesn't run anymore.

Buying our car was a easy process, no hassle we had a ideal from renting a car what we wanted. When we arrived at dealership we were immediately greeted with a no hassle approach. The dealer let us look at our leisure even giving us his price list. When we found our car, went for test ride and the dealer answered any questions we had. Once back we were in and out with all paperwork signed and the keys within an hour. Hertz was great to work with.

This dealership was very helpful and not pushy. They worked with us on the price we wanted and tried to give us the best deal they could on the car we bought. They were very happy and upbeat. They also helped us with trading in our old car for the new one. We were able to get in and out with our new car in the same day.
