The car handled great. I used it a lot for off reading and going out on the dunes with my family. It was spacious, and really dependent on long trips trough tough terrain. It really proved itself and proved to be a very reliable vehicle overall. I liked the study frame, the powerful engine, and the fact that I could tackle any terrain no problem.
Story
Off-roading in the dunes with my boys. Best time I've had. I really enjoyed driving through the dunes and having laughs, sharing the good times out in the desert. I loved it.
Pros
It was dependent, engine ran well, minimal maintenance, it was always good on long trips and extended journeys. It was a great car that helped me get my family to where I want to go. I can not imagine other cars or SUVs that would have been able to do for me than other cars would have.
Cons
It had bad gas mileage. I spent a lot on trying to maintain good MPG, but it was never decent enough to call good. I think that might have been the only con. Also, there were a few recalls that happened for various parts, but I never had any real life threatening emergency stuff happens when I was driving the vehicle. Overall, great car.

2016 Jeep Cherokee - Very bad experience with the vehicle performance.

The Jeep is very nice in the interior and very smooth when it runs properly. However the computer that ran the car was terrible and within days the car began to malfunction. It would misfire and when I took it into the jeep shop they said they could not fix the vehicle because the computer did not register any misfiring. I went on a road test with the mechanic so that he could see the misfiring and they said they would give me new plugs. Within days the misfiring began again, and again the mechanics at the Jeep dealer said they couldn't do anything because the car's computer did not register anything wrong. So I had to live with constant misfiring while driving. At 70,000 miles the transmission began to kick out while driving the vehicle. The engine did not die but the transmission wou... (more)
Story
Since I began to experience mechanical problems with a month of purchase there are no fun stories only memories of frustration.
Pros
Nice interior, many amenities.
Cons
Car did not perform well while driving and the computer would not register any of the problems, so that the Jeep mechanics had no concept of what to do and they would not replace the computer that drove the engine. Mechanically it was definitely a lemon.
