The Jeep Latitude is a solid SUV with some good and bad features. The Latitude is more luxury than the Trail Hawk and is better suited for the road rather than a dirt trail. It has a lot of options as far as upgrades from the base. It is responsive in the turns and isn't sluggish up hills. Mine is a dark gray, which is a nice color. There are a lot of color options, so you are sure to find the one you like. Leasing seems to be a good option for the Jeep Latitude because there is often a deal going on. It can be quite expensive for a monthly payment for an upgraded model if you are trying to buy. In SUV rankings, it is usually in the top ten but not in the top three. Those spots generally go to foreign makes such as the Mazda MX5 or Honda CRV. The advantage of the Jeep in these comparis... (more)
Story
I drove on a snowy hill this winter, and there were trucks that had to park at the bottom because it was too slick, but my Jeep had no problems.
Pros
I like the high tow weight. You can take a light boat or dirt bike around with this. I like the features like heated seats and steering wheel. I like the power of the V6.
Cons
I don't like the gas mileage. It will get about 23 combined, and I think when the Mazda is doing 5-10 better, you can make some improvements. I wish it came in a diesel. I wish it had a turbo v4 option.

I've had my Cherokee for 4 months now and I love it so far. The Trail hawk version is very off-road capable and the stock Firestone tires get great grip. The base 4 cylinder engine paired with the 9 speed transmission is adequate but sometimes I wish I had gone with the 6 cylinder. I haven't had any problems with the transmission and I think it does a great job with smooth shifts and not a whole lot of hunting around for the correct gear. I have been getting 30 mpg highway and 20 mpg city with my normal driving habits.
Story
I haven't had the vehicle long but I have had a great time taking it to different hiking and mountain biking locations.
Pros
The interior is borderline luxurious with high quality soft touch materials everywhere. The ride is quiet and it does a good job of sucking up road vibrations. The leather/cloth bucket seats are very soft and comfortable. The Uconnect features are great - the large touch screen is fast and easy to use. The interior space is less than most of the competitors but I haven't had any problems fitting my bicycles in the back.
Cons
- Gas mileage could be better - Interior space less than competitors - You have to move the front seats forward to lay down the back seats - 4 cylinder engine is adequate but not exciting - Some features are not standard that are on other vehicles (heated

This dealership was great because they were flexible on the price of the vehicle, and knocked off money for various things we found wrong with the vehicle on the test drive.

They were great with help with financing and were very courteous. We weren't quite sure what we were looking for but our dealer was very patient in helping us find a car that was right for our family.
