2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Solid vehicle
I like the way the vehicle handles. Some of the interior controls are confusing and hard to get used to. There are a lot of menus on the touchscreen rather than tactile buttons and knobs. I feel that it's hard to drive and easy turn the temperature up or change the radio.
Story
I've used it on the land behind our home and navigated through mud and snow with ease.
Pros
It is a very smooth ride, and the hatch provides a lot of room for hauling items. I can also drive in many different areas of terrain.
Cons
The backseat is not overly roomy. Having kids it gets a little tight on leg room. The shifter knob is also quite confusing as it only moves back and forth in clicks rather than in stages. I feel that's a safety hazard.
2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Needs repairs every few months.
Body and interior are in great condition. Needed some mechanical work. I put in new parts that almost totaled what I bought the vehicle for. Otherwise, it runs great and it doesn't leak fluids. It shifts pretty good. Its okay on gas. Gets about 20 miles to the gallon. Its an SUV, so its great at hauling gear.
Story
It's a great car to take camping. It has four wheel drive and lots of space in the inside. Seats are comfortable and it has both CD and cassette tape options.
Pros
Gas efficiency in regards to its SUV size. Clean interior. Good Body, little rust. 4WD.
Cons
A sensor wasn't working and had to be replaced. The radiator was leaking and had to be replaced. It needed new rear brakes and I replaced those.
