2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Useful
This truck is very good for its great performance on the road. It has a great engine, but there are few bad things on this vehicle, for example, its gasoline pump.
Pros
Its performance, strength, comfort and quality.
Cons
This car consumes a lot of gas.
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee - I love my Mama Bear.
I love the Jeep. It has weird little design issues as I'm learning all Jeeps do, but it feels safe, overall reliable, and it's both pleasant to drive and comfortable to ride in. Even as old as my Jeep is, it's still a very nice-looking vehicle.
Story
Mama Bear decided to overheat so that I had to pull over and wound up in a bar having a few beers before noon. I had a great time, and it took her so long to chill out (it was over 100 that day) I had time to relax and then sober up a little before driving her home.
Pros
Lots of cargo room, and a surprising number of features for a car this age. There's a rudimentary kind of computer system that notifies you of problems, provides a compass and thermometer, and generally keeps you aware of the status of your vehicle. Nice stereo that's original and still works perfectly, comfortable seats, and a really low level of wear and tear for its age.
Cons
Well, Jeeps are legendary for temperature issues and this one is no exception. Fix one thing to make it stop overheating in stop and go traffic and ANOTHER thing goes wrong. Lots of people resort to adding a fan and I plan to do this to my Jeep. The air conditioner also tends to have a drain that clogs and makes water run into the floorboards of the passenger side, and yep, mine does that too, though it's something you can fix yourself with a few tools. You'll be doing small repairs a lot.
