I like that the Honda Pilot has a third row. It is like having sporty utility van. The truck was on the high mileage side when it was purchased so for it still to be able to travel out of state and in town gives me some room to hold off purchasing a new vehicle at the moment. There is ample storage in the back when the third row is down. That helps with big grocery shopping trips.
Story
We took a family trip to the lake. The kids got super muddy from being in the lake. Every now and again I still see mud in the truck even thought it's been cleaned several time. It always reminds of our family trip to the lake.
Pros
I like the fact that it is a SUV. It looks small but really does have the room of a six-passenger van. It drives well on the freeway and gets good freeway mileage. It is practical, yet stylish even though it is an older model. There is low maintenance on the vehicle. Tires are good the snow and heavy rains.
Cons
The gas mileage is not great. The truck is not big, but the tank doesn't full up until you get pass 15 gallons worth of gas. That makes it hard to full up when gas is spiking. There are some mechanical issues with the windows. If the third row is up there is not much room for storage. Therefore, if traveling with extra passengers, we have pack light or pay for an extra storage compartment to attach to the roof. The body style of the truck is very basic. There are no extra features in the truck expect HTM wheels. No great sound system or anything like that. The leg room is not great when th... (more)

I really like my Honda Pilot because it does make a decent replacement to my van, which was a seven passenger seater. When we add the optional row in the Honda it becomes a six-passenger seater. It handles well. It looks small but handles like a big boy, which I love. In addition, there is enough room for me to tote my two teenagers and our new arrival in a few weeks.
Story
We have weekly ministry assignments. One Saturday we piled myself, my children, and another complete family in the truck. We had a great day that ended with lunch downtown. It was wonderful.
Pros
I really like the highness of the Honda Pilot. I am short in stature, so sitting high is a real pro for me when I'm driving. There is plenty of deck and interior space in the front seat. The truck accommodates my growing tummy lovely. My teenage is driving now. While she was afraid to drive my van, she's not afraid to drive the Pilot, which is plus. I also love the HTM wheel system, which will be an advantage if we get snow and ice this year.
Cons
The biggest con I have is that the Honda Pilot does not seem to be fuel efficient. However, it is a 2003 and used. It is possible that I need to get a thorough tune up. The Honda is a foreign car, so I'm sure some maintenance and parts will be more expensive than I am used to with my van.

Great customer service. Willing to listen to the specific needs of the customer. Patient and friendly. Went above and beyond their means to accommodate the customer. Excellent service center. The service performed has been exceptional and I've never had to return because of a incorrect or faulty repair. They'll even clean your vehicle for you before you pick it up.
