I absolutely love this vehicle. It is sporty, like me, and matches my personality. It doesn't look too girly and has plenty of room for five passengers. The sound system of course was one of my biggest deciding factors, and the factory system that comes with the vehicle is plenty loud enough, with speakers installed in both the back and the front. There is a console between the two front seats that is plenty deep to hold whatever you need. This console also has two cup holders in the back that can flip down and up to make more room on the floor. Of course, there are two cup holders up front. I am a newer driver, I've only had my license for about seven years, and this vehicle is so easy to drive. It drives very smoothly and we took it over 5,000 miles (one road trip) and it is still ru... (more)
Story
We decided that we were going to install a new stereo system in the vehicle. Please keep in mind that this vehicle still had mostly all factory parts. We took it by an electrician that we know and he hooked up the speakers, amp and the stereo in no time. However, once we got going down the road, the vehicle started to die! There we were, stranded in Texarkana, waiting for a new battery. It may... (more)
Pros
Console, flip down cup holders, window locks, child safety locks, removable back seat, back windshield wiper, picks up speed easily, roomy back seat.
Cons
Sensors defective, weak battery, hard to install a new stereo system.

We bought a used 2011 Ford Escape with a lifetime transmission and engine warranty through our local dealer. The car had been used a an Enterprise rental car and only had about 20,000 miles and was in good condition except for some minor paint chips on the back by the tail lights. It's compact and all wheel drive. We originally got it when we were a family of 4 and there is plenty of room. I really have no cons about it because we have had no trouble with the car what so ever and are at almost 100,000 miles.
Story
It was really easy to drive up hill in a huge storm we had in North Texas a few years ago. We had what was called cobblestone ice and most cards were sliding off the roads and not being able to be controlled very well. It was easy to go up and down hill without sliding forward or backwards and we were actually able to get to the stores and to work while most other people were not.
Pros
Comes with a lifetime transmission and engine warranty, has a luggage rack, fit our family of 4 well when we got it and had no problems when we had our third child fitting 3 car seats across. It performed well when we had a major snow and ice storm and never had issues with the car sliding or going up icy hills. Plenty of trunk space and the back seats fold down for large items that need to be hauled. I also liked that it had power seats because I am short and a lot of subs that do not have power seats do not move the seat higher just forward and I would have had to sit on pillows to see o... Cons
The main cons I have is that all the buttons are there for hands free and they do not work what so ever. I would have liked to have a navigation option. Also the payments are pretty high. Higher than we paid for a vehicle with a higher price tag.

I really like the facility. It felt light, spacious and new. I also like the salesman. I felt like he listened to me and was able to answer all the questions I had about the car.
