2009 Honda Fit - Love this car
I'm close to 130,000 miles and have only ever had synthetic oil changes and tire replacements done on the car. Never have I had any issues with the vehicle mechanically or otherwise. I love the sport mode with paddle shifters -- it gives the car a little extra boost when merging or hitting a green light from red.
Story
I remember driving six hours to pick up an Acura TL hood to put on another vehicle. It didn't even occur tome that it might not fit in my car. I managed to maneuver the hood of that car into my car through the back passenger door and fit it inside my car.
Pros
I initially purchased this car because I loved how versatile the inside was (i.e. magic seats). I affectionately refer to the Fit as my "clown car," because it literally can hold as much as a truck bed, but it all fits inside the vehicle.
Cons
The only real con I've found has been the vehicle's level to the ground. Both fog lights have been busted out due to hitting curbs when parking or street debris. Additionally, the interior is cheap as the carpet has been destroyed, even with the nice rubber mats in the car. It was definitely not designed with a high-end interior. I believe the interior issues were updated with newer models, but I'd be curious to know if the ease of damage to the underside of the car were helped.
2012 Honda Fit - Good for getting around
A really basic but reliable car. It's got no bells or whistles, but it does allow you to move the seats about if you need cargo space.
Story
The Honda Fit looks pretty stylish and I've been asked more than once if it is a hybrid car. Also, people are amazed when I tell them I only fill up about every three weeks and have the oil changed less than once per year due to my short commute.
Pros
It's simple to operate and starts up every day. The gas mileage is okay, about 23 with mostly urban use. You can configure the hatch and seats to carry large cargo items pretty easily.
Cons
The windows are weird and there is a huge blind spot on the left front. The climate control is very basic and not very good. The car blows about in the wind and if you're traveling at high speeds can be scary.

0 Honda Fit - Rusty Wallis Honda Dallas
What made this dealership great was that they weren't pressuring me to finance with them after letting them know I had my financing in place with my bank. They mentioned financing with them as an option but they didn't pressure me intensely unlike other dealerships that I had visited.
2003 Honda Element - J And M Auto Sales Dallas
Helped assist in finance in house after closing for the evening.
