I have driven this car almost daily for about three years now, and it's almost hit 50,000 miles! It's compact enough for city driving and handles the stop-and-go traffic of the DFW area beautifully. I love the feeling of being able to squeeze into compact spots in otherwise-crowded parking garages. The mileage is also excellent, and the trunk is big enough to hold a couple weeks' worth of groceries or a Craigslisted end table!
Story
We drove to Omaha in this car with our two cats in their carrier, and the older one got carsick and threw up on her newly-adopted little sister. The little kitten was so happy to have a home, she didn't care that she was covered in our older cat's barf! It was weirdly cute and only a little gross.
Pros
Gas mileage, good handling, responsive brakes, compact but roomy
Cons
Doesn't handle well on ice or snow

The mechanical performance was surprising considering the price of the vehicle and how it was advertised as an entry line model. The sharp and intricate front headlight/bumper design gives the car a different look and an edge over sedans from competing brands. Considering how small the vehicle is it has an extremely big trunk which comes in handy for camping trips. The car itself has enough extras for my tastes with satellite radio options, Bluetooth capability, a CD player, OnStar and cruise control. The pleasant surprises came in the form of remote start built in and a turbo engine. Both complete the driving experience and make it a very fun car to drive. Gas efficiency is great as well and I like the fact that the tank capacity is not too big. Also, car maintenance doesn't get too c... (more)
Story
During a snow/ice storm in the area in the middle of the work day we were sent home for the day so I was able to remote start my vehicle from my desk to let it warm up from the cold weather.
Pros
I enjoy the interior in terms of color scheme and set up. The built in OnStar is entirely useful and comes in handy. My absolute most enjoyable feature that came as a surprise is the turbo engine and how it performs. Also, remote start is a feature I wont be able to let go.
Cons
The oil requires a synthetic blend which requires specialized oil and filters which can make oil changes extremely expensive depending on where I get my vehicle serviced. During a tiny hit and run fender bender where I had to replace the front bumper and left turn signal I learned that the turn signal lights are connected to the head lights as one whole piece and therefore had to be replaced in full.
