My first car was a 2007 Toyota Camry XLE V6 3.5L automatic. After driving it, I fell in love with the Toyota brand. However, as a college student, owning a Camry got very expensive in regards to gasoline and maintenance. Therefore, I decided to go with a more economic option and trade-in for a 2008 Corolla Sport. I felt like it was the best decision possible. I needed a car that was both reliable and efficient with fuel, and the Corolla exceeds both of these requirements.
Story
I saw a same car and very similar plate number with my car at a parking place.
Pros
This car has several features that I admire about it. First, this car gets an incredible 40MPG highway and anywhere from 30-32MPG City. At the most, I have to fill up every 2 weeks. I can also drive about 410 miles on a single tank (a mere 13 gallons), which makes this car ideal for road trips. Another feature I like in this vehicle is the manual transmission. Personally, I believe it makes driving a more engaging and fun experience. You feel that you are actually driving the car. Last, I like the quality I get for the economic price. Since I have owned this car (about 2 years) I have not ... (more)
Cons
Although I love my Corolla, there is always room for improvements. One feature I did not like was the stock speakers that came with the car. The first thing I did when I purchased this car was to replace the speakers. They sounded like crumbled paper, and when I replaced them I discovered that they were actually made of single layer cardboard paper. Another feature that I feel that could have been improved was the body style. The Corolla had the same body style from 2003-2008.

Toyota Corolla is one of the best cars that are out on the road today. I have driven this car back and forth from Dallas to Louisiana so many times that I can't count them all. I have driven this car over 175,000 miles, and I've never has a problem with it that couldn't be fixed and only on a couple of occasions.
Story
One time, I drove this car to the coast and back. It hardly used a lot of gas.
Pros
This is a 'sturdy car.' I hit a deer once on a Farm Market Rd., and it didn't cause any damage except for a head light. When you drive this car, it has the power to get up and go. If you're sitting at a red light and the light turns green, the Corolla is the first to go. If you are driving on the highway, you're able to pass other cars and you're driving the speed limit. It makes you feel like you 'flying' down the road.
Cons
There is a 'sensor' that appears to go out every once in about 7,000 miles that might need to be replaced. The check engine light can turn on when sometimes when there appears to be nothing wrong with it. Instead of the oil light coming on, the check engine light comes on instead. This car doesn't have an ashtray or a cigarette lighter. There are three car chargers but they don't work.

Lee helped me get a deal that I was comfortable with, a deal I could commit to, and that had me. Derek in financing shared personal stories about his family and made me feel very comfortable. Enrique was amazing! I would recommend anyone and everyone looking for affordable Brand New vehicles I would definitely recommend them to sports city Toyota to Sam Butt. Thanks for the past 15 years and more years to come in the future.
