2011 Dodge Caliber - I love my Dodge Caliber.
In the five years I've driven this car I've never experienced a single mechanical problem. I've only ever maintained it with regular oil changes, nothing more, and it still runs great. I need a tune up but that's about it. I first drove a Caliber as a rental, so when it came time to purchase a car I knew I wanted a Dodge Caliber because of all its great features. For one, it's very spacious. There is ample room in the front, back and the trunk. My daughter is in a wheelchair, so it's beneficial to have that kind of space to fit her chair, braces, and walker, and any other necessary equipment. Also, it has great steering and alignment. I'm able to make sharp corners with ease and it handles really well. It's a pretty shade of candy apple red and very pleasing to the eye. The sound syste... (more)
Story
I went on a road trip with my kids to Austin, TX to visit my father. We had a great time, rode around to see the sights and visit family, but the road trip itself to and from Austin was the highlight of the vacation.
Pros
The beautiful paint job, the sound system, and the fact that I've never experienced any problems with it.
Cons
Only that it doesn't come with a cigarette lighter.
2011 Dodge Caliber - My awesome Dodge Caliber
I first tried the Dodge Caliber when I rented it for vacation. I thought it provided a very smooth ride and I enjoyed how roomy it was. I liked the color, the gas mileage, and the compliments I got on it. Plus, the built in sound system made it sound like the speaker system was upgraded instead of factory.
Story
I remember how I named her. I was riding with my husband and he told me I needed to name my car in order to ensure I didn't have an accident. I looked at the first street sign, which said Linda Lou, and decided to name her that.
Pros
One positive aspect of the 2011 Dodge Caliber is its ability to handle well. You can turn corners sharply and not put yourself in danger. It has excellent alignment as well. I haven't had any problems with it at all since I bought it in 2011. I've only had to have routine maintenance on it such as oil changes, etc. It has a lot of room inside; my daughter is in a wheelchair and the chair fits in the back trunk without me having to disassemble it to make room for it. My kids love the car, too! I've had it since my daughter was small and before my four year old son was even born, so it's lik... (more)
Cons
The only con with the car is the fact that it's easily dented. I bumped into one of those yellow poles a while back and it left a deep dent, even though I didn't hit the pole that hard. Also it gets mistaken for a Honda a lot for some reason. Those are the only cons I can think of, it's a great car.
