Toyota Matrix Owner Ratings & Reviews

2007 Toyota Matrix - Small but satisfactory.
The car performs admirably. For a small engine, it has a decent amount of punch to it. It's generally reliable and is comfortably roomy. As a used car, a few features could use a little work. For instance, the cigarette lighter is on the blink, and the outer door handles could be much more durable. Overall, there have been few major problems with the car in the few years that I've owned it.
Story
Moving with this car was quite easy! I could fit most -- if not all -- of a friend's necessities in this vehicle, and it made things less of a chore with only one trip from point A to point B. Granted, unloading the car up to a third floor apartment was a chore, but naturally, the car couldn't go up the stairs!
Pros
It's fairly roomy for a small car and remarkably versatile. The gas mileage is pretty good, and it's quite the reliable vehicle. It's a fairly simple and straightforward vehicle.
Cons
The hard plastic bits, such as the door handles and the interior panels, could have been built with a bit more care. With a little work, these small parts could be repaired. Acceleration is quite slow, but this is to be expected with a small engine. The rear windshield wipers aren't as effective as one might hope. The car also lacks some of the convenience features of more modern vehicles, such as back-up cameras.
2009 Toyota Matrix - Fun sporty car.
This car was a very fun and stylist car. It was very fun to drive and it looked even better. It was the S type of trim so it had some of the better additions. Such has nicer wheels, a nice internal trim. It was a 5 speed stick shift so it was fun imaging you were in a race car when you are zooming down the street.
Story
Driving to the coast line and spending the day with my wife. We took an impromptu trip to the coast line and spend out day there relaxing.
Pros
The 5 speed stick shift was nice and how it included all the nice trim. Nicer wheels/rims, leather interior, and it had a moonroof.
Cons
The car it self had the ability to have key less enter but you would have had to buy a new key fab which cost upwards of 400 dollars.
