I love my car! It drives very smoothly and gets really great mileage. It looks nice but not flashy. The interior is leather and very comfy. There is a blind spot for me in the rear of each side but I compensate for it by leaning forward when changing lanes to make sure there isn't a car there. There is power steering, power seats, a good radio. There isn't a CD player, or AUX cable, but there is a tape player that I can put a tape to headphone jack modifier in. My car is so comfortable and I love driving in it. Spacious backseat for stretching out if there isn't a hotel available overnight.
Story
I went to the beach for my friend's birthday and we all went to an Italian restaurant afterwards. We were too full to drive back so we planned on napping in the car until one of us was awake enough to drive. But one of my friends said he would drive back and we could all sleep. I got to sleep in the backseat of my own car while it was being driven. It was super comfy and we talked about how we... (more)
Pros
One of my favorite things is the fully electric seats. They adjust in every direction. Another is how smooth a drive it is. The power steering and sensitive pedals make it very pleasant and effortless to drive. I also love the spacious back seat and trunk because I've moved several times in this vehicle and I can fit all my luggage and food in the trunk and sleep in the back very comfortably (I'm 5'1"). My last favorite thing about my car is it's large gas tank (17 gallons) and good gas mileage (27 highway) I've been all across the country in this car and it has required very little mainte... (more)
Cons
My car has a loose ignition which means that every once in a while to get it to start you have to turn the key and push the gas. Also it doesn't come with a CD player or AUX cable. Additionally, the car has started to make a noise when making sharp right turns and I have no idea why. The front passenger door sticks, so if you don't shut it right the cab lights will stay on when parked and run down the battery. Sometimes, because of my foot placement when driving and the placement of the light dimmer, I inadvertently dim the lights when off.

I immediately liked the styling of the Avalon, it looks like a higher class of car. I like the leather seats, lots of leg room, premium sound and lots of extra. It is very comfortable. The trunk is usable even for trips to the airport, long car trips and can hold a lot of soccer equipment including folding chairs. It was rarely in the shop, maintenance and repair costs are generally fair. One of the belts was quite expensive and re-keying is really expensive with that year's engine. In order to re-key it must a part of the engine must be replaced. Toyota has a program to pay for the replacement part but that's still a lot of money for labor. Mileage is quite good for such a comfortable car. It was fun to drive, breaks and handles well. Acceleration is not as great as the newer A... (more)
Story
Spent many days with the moon roof open. Graffiti was spray painted on the side of the vehicle door. It took only a small amount of time to remove and the color of the car remained true.
Pros
Comfort and a feeling of safety. Good mileage and low maintenance cost.
Cons
Fitting car seats into the semi-reclined leather backseats can be a challenge depending upon the brand of car seat. The more expensive brands fit more easily. Re-keying would be extremely expensive.

The staff was friendly. The salesman was professional and courteous. The salesman and sales manager were not pushy at all. I asked for best deal and they told me the best price they could do. No back and forth.

Quick to respond to inquiries. They quoted a price and stuck with it. They were friendly and helpful. Stayed open late to accommodate my schedule. Did not try to oversell and was not pushy.
