Overall, the Jeep Liberty is a wonderful vehicle that can stand the test of time. It is easy to drive, very comfortable, and stylish-looking. Although the 2003 model has some outdated features (think CD player), it is a wonderfully dependable car that can be handled in almost any type of weather. With a higher frame and shorter nose, the vehicle also drives quite well in tight situations and heavily trafficked streets.
Story
Growing up, this vehicle has been one of the most dependable cars I've ever been around. After years of driving in high school and college, getting into this vehicle still reminds me of the days I spent riding around with windows down and music blasting.
Pros
The best features of this vehicle are numerous. In addition to having power windows and locks, it also has spacious seating for 5 and a large trunk area (that can handle a decent amount of cargo). Additionally, all of the window controls are in the center console (near the parking brake) and are quite easily accessible to the driver and passenger. Because the car was built before every car engine was monitored by a computer, it is also fairly easy to repair mechanical issues without having to go to a dealership / car repair shop.
Cons
The seats are not leather, but fabric and tend to get dirty easily. Separately purchased seat covers would make the entire experience much nicer. Furthermore, the model is outdated compared to newer cars and it can be a bit of a gas guzzler. There is also a substantial blind spot on the left and right side, but it is something that can easily be adjusted for once you get used to driving it. Lastly, the heat / AC can often take a little while before getting started up.

2007 Jeep Liberty - The Jeep Liberty is a good SUV.

Overall my Jeep Liberty is a good vehicle that is flexible for my various needs. It is a good family car, safe, and has enough utility that I can use it for a wide range of things. The car has needed very little maintenance and every problem was really just cosmetic.
Story
I was able to jump a curve to avoid traffic with my jeep and it does not even have 4 wheel drive.
Pros
The Liberty is a solid car and the engine is easy to get to and work on. I now have over 100,000 miles on it and have only had to take it into the mechanic for oil changes and tune ups. Even though it is a SUV the seats fold down so I have been able to use it to move and even help friends move. The interior is spacious, I was able to fit an entire wardrobe cabinet in it. And I have used it for camping and even tailgating in a pinch.
Cons
The only downsides I have found are that for some reason a lot of people have the same paint job for this model of car and it can make it tedious sometimes when looking for your car in the parking lot. Jeeps in general are notorious for rear hatch and window problems. These are very easily fixable, though, and are very minor overall. The air conditioning condenser hose can get clogged from time to time and you have to clean it out, but the Jeep sits up so high you just need a dolly and a coat hanger and you're good.
