2008 Nissan Rogue - It's a nice little car.
I have a white, 2008 Nissan Rogue, that I consider a nice little car. Since I am 6'4" tall, I was concerned about fitting inside. It is perfect. I had a problem with the transmission (apparently it's a major issue), and had to have it replaced. It does not drive quite the same and I'm a little disappointed. That being said, I still like it. The handling is exceptional. It turns in a circle like you expect a small car to do (not on a dime, but close). Being a small car, the lack of air conditioning in the back is not a major problem, but vents would be nice.
Story
Before the transmission had to be replaced, I had many people ask me if it was an electric car. It's that quiet!
Pros
Great handling. Nice radio. Good fit even for a tall man. Large trunk. The back seats lay down without pushing into the front seats!
Cons
Transmission replaced (apparently nearly all of them have this). Radio needs to be updated to modern standards.. No vents for A/C in the back. No backup camera. I was told I should get fuel mileage in the mid-20s. It gets about 19.
2015 Nissan Rogue - I am confident in my purchase.
I liked the affordability and ease of purchase. The car is attractive. The car performs well, it has low upkeep required and good fuel economy on the interstate. It is a popular car, sporty, and is a cross-over. Plenty of rear storage and seating.
Story
We took a road trip to a graduation. The vehicle was roomie enough to pick up relatives from the airport and enjoy dinner locally, before we went on the road trip.
Pros
The price and fuel economy are positive aspects. The car comes with few opportunities for electrical issues and is low in upkeep.
Cons
It does not have leather seats or heated seats or a heated steering wheel. The car does not have a sunroof. The windows are not tinted, and the seat and floor covering is light in nature. The next yearÕs model is more sporty and modern looking. I had to purchase a covering for the trunk of the car to keep my items protected from view of the public. It has two rows in contrast to three rows, found in some modern cross-over vehicles.

2016 Nissan Rogue - Headquarter Nissan Columbus
Our sales rep, Mike, was very kind. A little pushy at times but overall a better experience than I've ever had at a dealership. I didn't feel excessively ripped off by the time we were done but I think we probably would have gotten a better deal somewhere else.
