2014 Jeep Patriot - Decent, reliable, comfortable
By far the worst feature is the amount of gas it goes through, and the acceleration speed. I was told it ran on one continuous gear, and it doesn't speed up very fast because of it. I do like that it has lots of light features and cuts through rain easily. It is good for terrain like beaches and rocky roads. It doesn't have as much storage as I'd like for driving around the city, especially in regards to things like textbooks I have to haul around, but does have good storage if you were to take it on a road trip and have all the seats in the back down. Overall I am pretty pleased with it, but I think it could use better acceleration. If I were to buy a new Jeep product it would most likely be a Wrangler instead. I don't like that the Patriot has a hard top. It would be good for snow an... (more)
Story
There was a huge storm just the other day and the roads were completely flooded, but my car could cut through that stuff like no other. It's almost like beating the elements. Any time there is a hurricane or tropical storm, everyone likes to be driven in the Jeep because it holds up super well and is always reliable regardless of weather conditions.
Pros
The top positive things are the lights, the tires and durability, and the overall look of the vehicle.
Cons
Non-automatic locks and windows, the amount of gas mileage, and how often the oil needs to be changed.
2012 Jeep Patriot - I have enjoyed owning my Jeep Patriot.
I am very pleased with my Jeep Patriot Latitude. I have found that it is a very roomy vehicle with lots of storage space. I have fit a whole deep freezer in it! It is a smooth car to drive; and for me personally, it has very few blind spots. My child's car seat and now convertible car seat both fit great and are easy to install with the LATCH connectors. I am very pleased with how well my cloth interior has held up. The fabric tends to hold dog hair, but dirt comes off really easily.
Story
I drove my Jeep Patriot through the Atlanta 2014 Snowpocalipse, and it did great. It never had any issues with traction, I felt very safe, and it handled great. I had never driven on snow/ice before, and it did very well.
Pros
One of the main reasons I picked this car was because the back window set up is so that there were limited blind spots. I really like how well I can see out of it. I also think that the seats are very comfortable. The LATCH connectors in the back seat are easily accessible, making installing car seats very easy. The interior is very roomy, it is amazing how much storage space there is during road trips.
Cons
A few plastic pieces on the sides of my seats have come loose and therefore tend to snag clothing when you are getting in and out of the car. The backseat is not the most comfortable because it is rather short and not contoured. The leg room for the backseat is also really tight, but where you put your feet is deep so it is a trade out. The fabric holds dog hair, so I have had to put a cover over the seat when my dog is with me.

2013 Jeep Patriot - Airport Chrysler Dodge Jeep Orlando
The customer service at Airport CDJ was great. The salesman that helped me purchase my Patriot was very personable and locked down a payment that was reasonable.
1999 Jeep Wrangler - Suncoast Chrysler Jeep Seminole
The dealership is near my home. The salesman showed me Jeeps that were in my price range. The service department hours are convenient for my work hours. The finance department help get me a loan. The dealership has good service after the sale.
