What I love about it, is that it still runs pretty good for being 14 years old. The quality is great, and since its a SUV , I feel very safe in it..Lol. What I dislike about the car is that the exterior fades rather quick and because its such a huge car, it sucks up gas like somebody drinking water on extremely hot day. All in all the car is great, although I'm looking to buy a new car very soon. Oh yea one more thing. Some of the parts inside the car tend to fall off quickly. I think its a great car though. Since I would like a new one. I may trade it in at the Toyota dealership or sell it.
Story
Oh yes hahaha. I will never forget when my aunt came down from England , and we went into Walgreen's. She bought a Starbucks iced coffee. So when we went back into tmthe car I went over a speed bump the same time she was about to take a sip. Needles to say, the coffee was all over the place...Lol, boy did we have a good laugh :)
Pros
It drives well and I definitely feel secure. Everyone that drives with me in the car , says it drives and smells good. Due to my California cherry air freshener, which is awesoooome!!!. The ac is really good. Keeps me and family and friends cool on summer days, and when it cold , not that it gets cold here living in sunny Florida. But the heat works great as well. So all in all I cannot complain. I love driving in this beautiful silver SUV.I also love washing my car on a weekly basis. Keeps my car squeaky clean, and allows me to save a few dollar ,dollar bills y'all!!!...Lol
Cons
Well I hardly drive it and it sucks the gas dry which is annoying cause we all know how expensive gas is these days. The paint exterior chips fast and also has a few scratches. Some of the parts inside the car, tend to fall off. Which is also frustrating. But hey , I guess that's the least of my problems right?? Definitely needs a painting. Also the front window is old and no matter how much I try cleaning it. It still looks dirty which I'm like oh no it didn't...Lol, also sometimes the back windows falls down by itself and like o sheesh..Smh. I think I would prefer getting a smaller car, ... (more)

I always wanted a 4-Runner and finally had the perfect opportunity to buy about a year ago following my early retirement. Even though it's an older model, it still looks good and runs great. I like all the space in back for hauling whatever is needed. Also like the sunroof.
Story
It was fun loading up our 140-pound bulldog to go to the dog beach. He enjoyed the ride in the truck more than the beach.
Pros
The car had obviously been taken care of previous to my purchase. Regular oil changes and recommended preventative maintenance measures were fully documented. It was equipped with brand new Michelin tires, and the front brakes were newly serviced.
Cons
Some of the interior lights didn't function, like for the radio. The driver and passenger door windows needed additional tint to protect against the Florida sun.

Nothing - the guy that "closed" the deal with me, who I believe was one of the managers, was rushing me through the entire closing process. The car also only came with one key because the car had been towed down from Palm Beach (why not bring the extra key in case I decided to buy it?). He promised that he would have the other key sent the next day. I went back once a week for three months and he always had an excuse. Needless to say I never got the additional key. Had to pay $350 for a new one and they would not reimburse me.

They accepted a trade in of my car that was 10 years old and I got $3000 for it. Plus, they were running a promo and I got an additional $1000 credit for buying a car from them. They even followed up with me a few weeks later to follow up. You will be a guaranteed a great car because all of their cars were just rentals prior to their sale so you don't have to worry about heavy wear and tear or any mechanical issues. They also provide you with a great warranty and if you refer someone after your purchase you can also make some money. Win win for everyone.
