I like that the car has large wheels and a high clearance. It is good for some minor off-road driving. It also has a strong six-cylinder engine and can tow a trailer. I have actually been in two accidents in my Jeep Liberty, and it protected my family and I. In one of the accidents, the other vehicle was totaled while my car had minimal damage.
Story
It's a great vehicle for getting around town in Florida. My family and I use it every weekend to go thrift store shopping. We sometimes have to fold down one of the back seats to accommodate a large item that we bought, and we always manage to have just enough room for it.
Pros
My favorite feature of my Jeep Liberty are that it is easy to maintain. It is easy to do my own oil changes because of the high clearance. All of the fluid dipsticks are easily accessible. The spare tire attaches to the back door of the vehicle so it is easy to get to and change the tire if necessary. The seats are comfortable, and the car rides smoothly.
Cons
I have literally had to replace every window motor in the vehicle and a coupe of them have been replaced multiple times. Our air conditioner has gone out on four occasions, costing several thousand dollars to repair. I have had to replace both ball joints on the front passenger and drivers side due to excessive squeaking. In fact, one of the ball joints broke, and the wheel collapsed while pulling into a parking space. The paint is beginning to peel on the roof of the vehicle and has been for a few years now.

2004 Jeep Liberty - This car has made me fall in love with the Jeep brand.

Right off the bat, I loved the look of this vehicle. It was sporty and inviting. It was very comfortable to drive and handled nicely. Jeep makes great quality vehicles that are built to last, and that is one of the things I really appreciated about this car. I bought it used and it already had quite a few miles on it. We are over 200,000 miles now and I have not had to have it in the shop for anything. Not once has the check engine light come on, or any other warning light for that matter. Driving the car is a very smooth ride. I liked the design of the interior and the dashboard features. The round air vents are very appealing and give it a unique look. I would say its gas mileage is average.
Story
Of course, living in Florida, I took this baby to the beach! It is a great beach car. We all drove down to New Smyrna and parked it right on the sand, cracked open the trunk, and had a great day.
Pros
The top positive thing about this vehicle is its durability. Even after more than 200,000 miles, it is still going strong! It is an attractive car, and a joy to drive. My favorite features of the vehicle are the dashboard and the rack. I am a backpacker, so I can strap a lot of my gear to the top when I run out of room inside the vehicle.
Cons
I wish this car would get better gas mileage, but for a sport utility vehicle, it still is not too bad.
