The Jeep Wrangler Sport is too expensive for what it is. The gas mileage is terrible compared to how much power it has. It is short on comfort features, there is very little space, and it rides badly. I don't think Jeep Wranglers are bad vehicles exactly, but the people who buy and enjoy them do so for very specific reasons (they like driving off-road and/or with the top down) that the average person probably won't value as highly. I believe that you are paying more for the Jeep name and Wrangler image than other vehicles.
Story
Driving with the top down through the woods on my way to go hunting was very enjoyable.
Pros
It is fun to drive off road, and you can take the top down easily. You can still buy it with a manual transmission, and it gives the driver that cool "Jeep" image.
Cons
There are very few comfort and convenience options inside the vehicle. It gets worse gas mileage than you would think it should given the engine. There is very little interior space. The body panels seem low quality. The plastic windows on the soft top model are very hard to keep looking good, and most importantly, it is just too expensive for what you get.

Ok, this is a Jeep Wrangler and it is pure fun. I have been driving this vehicle for 12 years. I loved it when I bought it and I love it now. She always gets me home, through engine trouble, snow, ice, flooding streets and summer heat. She'll drive up, through, and over damn near anything. I took out the back seats and I can haul my mountain bike and all my gear in the back, no bike rack required. When other folks are stuck at home, a Jeep Wrangler will handle bad roads and no roads. Ice storm? No problem! Is it a luxe, comfy ride? Oh hell no. Will it get you there and look awesome? Indeed, it will.
Story
I'll never forget the first time I drove it up some steep, washed out double track. A bunch of men were watching and I was SO proud of myself for having a vehicle that would climb like that. Plus, I was proud of my driving.
Pros
Sits up high Dexterity of a mountain goat Handles a ton of abuse Looks cute!
Cons
Low mileage Rough ride Not a quiet vehicle

I found the car I wanted online and after calling to make sure it was still there, I drove over an hour to this dealership to get that specific car. They did of course try to convince me to get one of the newer models and I looked at them and got a quote for both, but in the end I wanted the used one more because of the price point and better crash test rating so that's the one I got. The paperwork process took a long time which is to be expected, but they offered us food and drinks while we waited which was nice and everyone was very friendly to us.

Nothing! I was lied to about several things. The finance manager used God to manipulate me into buying this vehicle. I was told that if I didn't buy a certain maintenance plan that I would have to pay $2500 plus for my tag when it was time! Not only that, I was told in a year I could go back to them and refinance for a lower interest rate. When that time came they told me they didn't do that. I would have to contact another lender. So I was pretty much stuck paying a car note of $565 for a vehicle not even worth it. They are not honest!
