Jeep Wrangler Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
2010 Jeep Wrangler - Love and hate.
Before owning a car, my dream had always been a jeep wrangler. Now that I have owned one for 6 years, I can say it is exactly what I wanted, but I'm not sure that what I wanted was the best I could do at the time. The Jeep is great and it performs exactly like expected and serves it purpose. However, I haven't done much off-roading with it lately and it ruins the point of owning a Jeep. When you don't use them for what they're made for, the cons outweigh the negatives.
Story
I have been able to pull multiple vehicles out of places they would not have been able to get out on their own.
Pros
The best things about this car is its off-roading capabilities. It can go where no other car can and is the best vehicle in its off-roading class. Its a very fun vehicle to cruise around town with as well. The top is easy to remove, making it a nice summer or beach vehicle. It's very rugged and can stand up to a lot of rough riding terrain. Its extremely customizable and can serve many different uses from deer lease vehicle to rock climber.
Cons
The shape of this vehicle not only degrade the gas mileage, but also its drivability in windy conditions and long drives. The gas mileage is terrible, especially with larger aftermarket tires and it cannot go very fast at all. When it is windy, the soft top causes the vehicle to be thrown all over the road and it can be very loud. Unfortunately I make long drives frequently and this can get unpleasant very quickly. The soft top can also be more. prone to break ins which has occurred three times in 6 years.
2015 Jeep Wrangler - Stylish & sturdy but has a few flaws.
The vehicle has an amazing design, I get compliments everywhere I go. The seats are made from durable and life-proof material, the amenities aren't over the top, and it is cool to be able to customize this vehicle in so many ways. The Willy's body style comes with black wheels and off-road tires, so it sits higher and looks more expensive than other models straight from the factory. However, I do not like how the head rests lean forward. It makes driving extremely uncomfortable, and I had to turn them around backwards. The T-top leaks when it rains. That shouldn't happen!
Story
Going on a road trip in it and driving with the front tops off. Not too much wind. It was perfect.
Pros
The strip down features of this vehicle are amazing. Everything comes off! There are water release valves throughout the car so if something spills, its an easy fix.
Cons
Leaky T-top and the awkward head rests.
