2016 Kia Soul - Reliable and stylish.
This was my first new car that I bought right out of college. My kea soul fit my needs from getting me from point a to b. It was also a car that I didn't have to be ashamed of driving either because it was stylish yet functional. I took my car on a camping trip and it had lots of space for my gear and with the back seats down it was enough room for me to sleep in there to. The price of the car was also a good deal. I use to drive second hand cars that gave me car anxiety because every month something would break. Now I don't have to worry about my car stalling. I drive my soul with confidence.
Story
I took it camping and I could fit all my things in there and still have room to sleep in the back with the seats down. I like that fact that it tells you how many more miles your car can go before going on empty.
Pros
Some positive things about the car are its compact size, easy to drive, and when it rains I am higher off the ground than most cars. I like that it has 3 different driving modes that include sport, normal, and economy. It goes far on a single tank of gas. I drove around the island of Oahu for a day trip and made it back with half a tank of gas. The stock interior of the car is also nice and I can play my music loud and not worry about other cars hearing my music when my windows are up. I like how roomy my car is. Its a nice car for a fresh out of college person like me.
Cons
I don't like how the base model didn't come with a rear backup camera it was around (3,000) more to add it on. I also don't like how there is a lag when from shifting from 1st gear to 2nd but I get around it by shifting to second quickly. Not much to dislike about this car. It's a good daily driving car. Its not the prettiest to look at but it isn't the ugliest.
