When I was looking for a vehicle and had it narrowed down to Nissan, the Lansing Nissan dealership offered me a better price compared to another dealership hours away. This was extremely convenient. The entire process from paperwork to being handed the keys took no time at all and everyone there was more than friendly. They made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions. I always service my vehicle there which takes no time at all and all for a great price.

The dealers themselves were very kind and helpful, very insightful and knowledgeable. The selection was great and there were plenty of options to chose from. They weren't too pushy and really let me take my time to make a decision. It was a huge change of pace from your typical car dealership experience, and they really made me feel welcome.

They did not try to push any cars on me, just made suggestions. They made suggestions not based on the highest price of car and best commission, but what was right for me. They had good prices. They also have a service station, so any car you buy can be serviced there. Very friendly and personable, my salesperson even gave me his cell phone number.

They were incredibly friendly, and seemed genuinely interested in meeting my needs and expectations. They didn't seem to be just turning another sale like a lot of other dealers do, and asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for and didn't make me feel rushed or pressured. They were always smiling and seemed to truly care.

They had the car I wanted in stock. They were great to work with. They were very friendly. I had some questions after purchasing the car, and they were very good at taking care of my concerns. They have followed up with me since my purchase to make sure I'm still satisfied.

They sell quality used cars. Their prices are fair. They always have great looking new cars on the lot. They once had a GT40 on the floor. . . it was pretty awesome. They offer decent trade-in value.

Lansing, MI Driving Tips
It can take a very long time to figure out all of the one ways and neighborhoods, and it can take well over 30 minutes to get from one side of the city to the other
Favorite Driving Memory
That I can get to work only making two turns (plus out of the driveway). I get to turn South, drive through campus then through the agricultural studies fields, then turn left into work about 6 miles later. Very nice.
Favorite Road
Hagadorn - Cuts through campus and the Southern Agricultural Studies fields (include cows, sheep, orchards, etc).

Lansing, MI Driving Tips
Be careful - Lansing drivers drive fast and dangerously. Also, when there is traffic everyone just goes so watch around you for inconsiderate people.
Favorite Driving Memory
I was driving home from LCC, the community college in the area. It was really snowy and it was almost like a blizzard out. I was going down Cedar and suddenly the snow stopped and everything was covered in white. It was so pretty to see.
Favorite Road
Grand River - There is so much to do on Grand River - especially at MSU's campus. My friends and I have had a lot of fun on campus, from when we first started driving until now.

Lansing, MI Driving Tips
Make sure to use Google Maps when first living in the Lansing area, and all of Michigan. We have this thing called a "Michigan Left" which will confuse non-Michiganders and can easily cause accidents. For these, you have to turn right, then turn left in a tight U-turn. Be aware - people like to try ... (more)
Favorite Driving Memory
My favorite would be driving down 127 on the way from central Michigan to East Lansing. While the road is pretty boring, flat, and monotonous, we got the privilege to watch an entire family of ducks cross the 70-mph highway safely!
Favorite Road
Grand River Ave - This is a fun road for us because it includes a lot of businesses and restaurants that we frequent, mostly World Market, Olga's, and a burger joint. It's also fun to drive around and see the campus.
